John Arbo - Bass Instruction
Students of all levels are welcome. We can find your voice in any style on bass guitar (4,5,6 - string, fretted or fretless), and double bass (arco orchestral repertoire including NYSSMA preparation, jazz improvisation and other styles). I've been a professional performer on and teacher of bass for over 40 years. I've been on the bass faculty at New School University in Manhattan for 25 years, SUNY Orange for 10 years and am the author of the eMedia Bass Method and eMedia Bass Guitar for Dummies. While there are issues that are common to many students, I'm expert at tailoring lessons to your particular needs and desires.
