The Poughkeepsie Jazz Project was created in 2012 with the goal of maintaining live jazz culture and community in Poughkeepsie, NY. Since its inception, The PKJP has presented a weekly jazz jam session accessible to all musicians and fans of live music. Over the past nine years, the jam has been honored to host hundreds of musicians from the Tri-state area. This event is free to both participants and listeners. All with a passion for jazz are welcome.

Music performed at this session is a mixture of: jazz standards, jazz repertoire, american songbook, bossa nova, and afro cuban. Sorry, we do not host original material at this session.

Tommy ( Blues ) Dudley, also known as The Blues Buddha, is a seasoned singer, songwriter, and producer with two CDs, 50 singles, and 18 videos to his name since 2010.

Tommy was inducted into the NY Blues Hall of Fame in 2015 and was a finalist in the 2010 Battle of the Bands by The New York Blues and Jazz Society. In 2011, his album "I Like It a Lot" earned a spot in Real Blues Magazine's Top 50 albums for that year. Since 2013, Tommy has been a singer for Vincent Pastore's (Soprano's HBO show) Gangster squad. He is the executive creative director for “Road Recovery” a Professional Entertainment industry non-profit that serves at risk youth putting on performances throughout the state of New York.

On Saturday, February 22 at 2pm, Nanuet Public Library will welcome the quartet Sundad, in a free concert at Nanuet Public Library, 149 Church Street, Nanuet, NY.

Sundad's original repertoire blends fingerstyle acoustic guitar instrumentals with a world fusion and new age flavor. Featuring John Eurell, Sr. on guitar, John Eurell, Jr. on guitar, Kendall Buchanan on bass, and Elijah Duncan on drums and percussion.

Sundad has recorded two albums, Journey To Eternity, which received a first round Grammy Nomination for 2005 Best Contemporary World Album, and The Journey Continues.

Robin Westle is a cabaret artist who has performed in venues all over NYC and beyond and was the creator, producer and host of the highly acclaimed Robin's Nest, a cabaret benefit series. A resident of Cortlandt Manor, Robin has lived and worked in the Peekskill area for over 40 years.

Philadelphia, PA, native Reggie Harris is an internationally celebrated songwriter, storyteller and educator and a proud descendant of the Great Black Migration. His early years, nurtured in Philly's rich cultural climate, contributed greatly to his building a legendary career in entertainment, education and social activism. A 2021 recipient of Folk Alliance International's "Spirit of Folk" and the W.E.B Dubois Legacy Award, Reggie’s groundbreaking solo CDs Ready To Go, On Solid Ground and his musical collaboration with Greg Greenway (Deeper Than the Skin) have helped to create spaces for courageous conversations on race, faith and history across the nation. As Music Education Director for the Living Legacy Project, Reggie co-leads in-person pilgrimages to sites of the Modern Civil Rights movement in the U.S. South. Reggie released a memoir Searching for Solid Ground in 2024, which chronicles his lifelong journey in music as a source of discovery, inspiration and hope.
