Jazz, Alternative, and New Age
Neil Alexander & NAIL

In 2000, I started working with Drummer Dean Sharp, who helped me reconnect with a missing part of my musical vocabulary: ambient style jazz, a la ECM records. We cut this disc in the studio in 1 day; very few edits or overdubs. It was a tremendously liberating experience, and helped me bring disparate musical elements of my life together in a new and (for me) profound way. Featuring Dean Sharp & Bassist Dave Hofstra (Microscopic Septet), "Galvanized" has proved to be one of NAIL's most popular discs. Originally released July 1, 2003. Credits: Neil Alexander Keys; Dean Sharp Drums; Dave Hofstra Bass. Produced by Neil Alexander. Associate Produscers Dean Sharp & Ryan Ball. Recorded and Mixed by Ryan Ball. Cover art "Undertow" (detail) by Jerry Teters. No guitars on this Record. C;P 2001 Neil Alexander/Meate Dream Music BMI.

Released: December, 2004
