A full evening of electronically flavored guitar instrumentals and acoustic vocal tunes by Spaghetti Eastern Music.

Spaghetti Eastern Music is the solo project of NYC/Saugerties-based guitarist, keyboardist and singer Sal Cataldi. Cataldi fuses Eastern beat, blues, techno and funk-influenced guitar instrumentals with gentle acoustic vocal tunes and looping, straight out of the John Martyn/Nick Drake songbook. Time Out New York writes: “Cataldi’s largely instrumental, Eastern-influenced jams are infused with some delicate guitar work and hauntingly moody atmosphere,” while The New York Times proclaims Cataldi has “a beat unmistakably his own.” Called “truly excellent” by The Village Voice, “a wide ride” by Radio Woodstock, “beautiful and unique” by WFUV’s Mixed Bag, “wonderfully melodic and off-center” by WFMU’s Irene Trudel and a “whirling dervish of musical creation” by Hudson Valley One/Saugerties Times.

It doesn't matter if he's performing a composition of his own...or someone else's composition: ... E.C. makes everything he sings his own. His interpretations are flawless and original and compelling. His versions are definitive.

His musicianship is world-class. He plays the guitar, the bass, and the harmonica like no one else. Effortlessly, beautifully, dynamically.

His writing is more than world-class. He is a storyteller for the ages...

Pianist and singer-songwriter, Sarah Eide’s first full length, fully produced album, “Dreams on Hold” released on May 6, 2019. Eide's heart-throbbing album depicts the unique, modern challenges of a real woman experiencing motherhood for the first time. The album as a whole covers a wide spectrum of emotion from tender to tongue-in-cheek to lamenting, and has been quickly garnering praise by fans and critics alike, being hailed as "an enthralling Americana storybook" (CITY Newspaper). Eide is a lot of things – an award winning composer of film and game music, a classically trained pianist, and a performing singer-songwriter. Since graduating from Berklee College of Music, her talent has allowed her to pave a non-traditional path and lifestyle of full-time artistry, and "Dreams On Hold" is no exception. The album showcases a star lineup of Chicago talent, such as acclaimed jazz drummer Jon Deitemyer, and was produced by Eide, demonstrating her abilities as a young producer.

Unfailingly sturdy and open-hearted songs, rock-energized bluegrass propulsion with a soulful, humble overtone.

In The Kitchen got their start in the steamy kitchen of a second story apartment in Rosendale NY. It was a warm midsummer evening and the boys started plucking sweet sounds as chicken, potatoes and green beans sizzled in the oven.

In The Kitchen plays a mix of Americana music, with hints of bluegrass, country, ad soul, peppering their songwriting.Their live sets move through a range of emotions, with plenty of danceable, driving tunes, balanced with slow grooves, and earnest lyrics and singing.

Their latest album, Almost Almost There, was recorded in a log cabin nestled in the Catskill Mountains.

“Yard Sale’s music with its strumming banjos and hand clapping choruses suggest that the good ol’ days aren’t too far away.” - Nicole Barnhart, New Paltz Oracle

http://www.iloveyardsale.com/

Featuring: Taylor Davis / Banjo/Drums, Charlie Schikowitz / Mandolin/Fiddle, Theo Schikowitz / Upright Bass, Rick Birmingham / Guitar/Fiddle

The Hudson Valley based acoustic quartet Yard Sale plays a ramshackle, hip, and politically potent Americana music, equally in love with Ernest Tubb and with Sam Cooke. Yard Sale’s debut full-length Every Day moves from backwoods holler-alongs and heartbreakers to art-folk gems, to topical and progressive new-folk, and a variety of groove songs that reveal the band’s abiding love of gospel and old soul.

Every Day is released on Team Love Records, the boutique Americana and indie rock label, and mixed by Bill Reynolds (formerly of Band of Horses) at Fleetwood Shack in Nashville.
