1348 Route 9W
Marlboro, NY   See Map
https://mollyruth.com/

In Molly Ruth’s debut album, Full Moon Outlaw, 70’s rock and roll, Delta blues, and country ballads are thrown prostrate before Nature’s terrifying violence. Every song is a blood-sacrifice. Sometimes she howls to the animal kingdom, sometimes sermonizes in a spirit language, sometimes she is wailing a bitter, jealous country ballad that leaves your heart ragged and your soul purified, and living as a Full Moon Outlaw.

SPECIAL SHOW: Singer/songwriter SLOAN WAINWRIGHT, consistently demonstrates her easy command of a variety of American musical styles — pop, folk, jazz and blues — held together by the melodious tone of her rich contralto, with the end result being a unique and soulful hybrid. Her family tree (brother and folk-music luminary Loudon Wainwright, nephew Rufus Wainwright, nieces Martha Wainwright and Lucy Wainwright Roche) With a solid and impressive discography of 10 original CD releases to her credit. Sloan’s incredible gift is not only her unique songwriting ability but also her dramatically voiced rendition of original songs. “She’s folk influenced, but the real star here is her voice. Warm and smoky and smooth, it makes her earthy, ominous lyrics seem all the more intense.” Glen Rothel will be accompanying her for this show.

MMB has had the honor of sharing stages with The Bruce Katz Band, Gregg Allman guitarist, Scott Sharrard and The Jamie McLean Band.

https://www.facebook.com/MenzaMadison/

Tracy Madison serves up soul-filled lead vocals, and has been described as a fusion of Janis Joplin, Susan Tedeschi and Bonnie Raitt. Mike Menza's slide guitar work is rich in tone and reminiscent of the Master, Mr. Duane Allman. Joe and Mike meld as father and son, delivering harmonic leads on vintage gear - no pedals.

The newest members of the MMB family, Tim Chanowitz and Rich Sarles, round out this old-school sound with a power house rhythm section. Be transported back to the roots of American music - elevated and transformed by MMB's own style. Straight-up raw, electrifying blues and rock 'n roll that will take you for a ride! Get on the train!

Mr. Albert King said, “If you can’t dig the Blues, you got a hole in your Soul.”

Murali joined Duke Robillard’s touring band and was signed as a solo artist resulting in the Stax/Volt-influenced “Eyes Wide Open”. Rolling Stone magazine named Murali “One promising new hound”.

Murali’s CD "Sugar Lips" (2009) reached # 5 on the Living Blues Radio Chart. His follow-up album, Murali Coryell - Live (2012) has been described as "smooth and speaks the truth", followed by "Mr. Senator" (2016).

Gifted vocalist, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Moses Patrou, can be found switching effortlessly between drums, keys, vocals and percussion – R&B, New Orleans Brass band, blues, jazz, rock and everything in between – in and around the NYC area , and on occasional jaunts to other parts of the world.

https://www.mosespatrou.com/

Born in Nashville, TN, his musical journey began in Madison, WI, hearing rolling boogie woogie, blues and country music firsthand from his talented musician father, Johnny “Chimes” Patrou.

A prolific songwriter, his first album aptly titled Introducing Moses Patrou (2007), was released on Grammy award- winning producer Ben and Leo Sidran's label, Nardis Records. His sophomore effort, Can't Stop, Vol. 1 (2013), was co-produced with Scott Sharrard (Lead guitarist for the Gregg Allman Band) and Charles Martinez (Sound Engineer for Michael McDonald, Boz Skaggs and Donald Fagen of Steely Dan).

Saugerties, NY   See Map
The first Friday June through September, the Sunset Concert series is presented on the lawn in front of the Reformed Church on Main St (or in the sanctuary in case of rain). The series kicks off in 2019 with These 3 Bums and Vickie Russell.

Dick Vincent, Matt Bowe, and Bruce Hildenbrand, known collectively as “These Three Bums”, play acoustic music for the fun of it. The fun of singing and playing with and off of each other, the fun of sharing smiles with their audiences. They expand the “Americana” label borrowing from folk, blues, country, jug band, and maybe even some old jazz and ragtime. You might hear threads of David Bromberg, Hot Tuna, Jim Kweskin, or Willie Nelson woven into the music. This music grew out of informal jams at open mics, coffehouses, and festivals, and it continues to grow roots and limbs the more we listen and play it.

Featuring: Fred Zepplin/Leader/Vocals/Ukulele, Andreas Humpert/Guitar, Alan Paul/Bass, Eric W. Nies/Keyboards, and Billy Paschal/Drums

This classic rock band from the Hudson Valley, led by Fred Zepplin, has developed a reputation for unconventional song selection, soaring vocals and a unique performance style - unexpected from a ukulele-fronted band! The band celebrates Pink Floyd, Deep Purple, David Bowie, Pearl Jam, and of course Led Zeppelin.

Although Fred Zepplin has opened for numerous national acts, their tagline "Live, local and homegrown rock" is well-respected and supported in clubs and bars throughout Orange County NY, and its neighboring territories.

Fred Zepplin has headlined at notable Hudson Valley venues, including The Falcon and The Falcon Underground; The Chance Theatre, Sugarloaf Performing Art Center, Orange County Choppers Cafe and Brian's Backyard BBQ.

Hang on to your hat! The thoroughly zany Baptista leads his groups like a crazy uncle behind a percussion kit, singing, beating and tapping on a variety of objects - sometimes with flip flops ! He may pick up a megaphone, jaw harp, bird calling mouthpiece, or chains. There will likely be rock, Latin music, and blues, or snatches of opera, and '60s surf music.

Cyro Baptista - known as the mad scientist of Brazilian percussion, is continually expanding stylistic boundaries. He has been touring periodically as a member of (PHISH guitarist's) Trey Anastasio Band.

Born and raised in São Paulo, Baptista has been a major force in world music for three decades.
