Politically active, socially conscious, wildly incisive and humorous as all get out throughout her fascinating and influential, multiple award winning career, Ellen Bukstel has covered all the hot button issues we as human beings and Americans can’t ignore. She’s been pro pot and folkin’ hot (the HMMA nominated “Who’s The Pusher Now?”, with 50,000+ YouTube views), a frustrated citizen (“They Lost My Vote”), whimsical about menopause (“Is It Hot in Here…Or is it Me?”), tough on domestic violence (“You’re Not Better Than Me”) and bold in the face of uncomfortable aspects of world history (the Music To Life songwriting competition winner “By My Silence”). When pop great Michael Bolton called her “an amazing artist and spirit,” he was simply the most famous person among thousands who have recognized her contributions as a voice of her, and all subsequent, generations.

“Christopher Brown wins over audiences without gimmicks or bluster. He has an organic stage presence. All he needs are his honeyed rumble of a voice and an unteachable ability to make any song – a good-time sing-along of a favorite standard or a self-penned meditation on the passage of time – sound genuine and of the moment.” ~The Journal News

It’s not easy to be a working musician in the Greater New York City region but Christopher Brown has built several followings, as a solo coffeehouse artist, the leader of duos and trios, and as the voice of the Bookends band.

Brown, backed by his talented band will be showcasing songs from a brand new collection entitled, “Under a Gleason Moon”, his fourth CD release.

He writes tales of lessons learned and of taking stock through life’s journey. If you’ve lived a life – victories and defeats, good days and bad – you’ll recognize yourself in the songs of Christopher Brown.

After sharing the stage with the young musician in Memphis a few years back, Ben Cauley, sole survivor of the Otis Redding plane crash and co-founder of the Bar-Kays likened Dylan to a young Jimi Hendrix.

Van Morrison guitarist John Platania commented “Dylan Doyle is the future.” Bill Payne of Little Feat described Dylan’s work as “imaginative and original.”

"Guitar star Dylan Doyle delights audiences, but frustrates anyone trying to define his sound....It isn’t the 19-year-old’s job to define it. It’s his job to play it. And that’s what the Dylan Doyle Band will do..." - Wisconsin News / Baraboo News Republic

Been Around the World https://youtu.be/zwc8rOeSuIM

Brad Faucher seamlessly blends the styles as smoothly and expertly as he bends his strings. With a style imbued with the jazziness of Grant Green, the blues pluck of T-Bone Walker and the soulfulness of Cornell Dupree.

DOG KNOWS! (formerly the Kurt Henry Band) rocks Woodstock, with Alan Groth on Bass and Chris Cullo on Drums. Their danceable protest song "Resist! Resist" is currently spreading like wildfire on Youtube. Kurt is also familiar as the lead guitarist of the Dharma Bums.

Also appearing is Cob's Cabin Band, a twang machine featuring Jay Jacobs on his white hot telecaster and Kurt--a formidable guitar section. Originally hailing from Elmont NY, this band is poised to make a big impact on the Hudson Valley where alternative Americana can turn a winter's eve into a hot summer night.
