Larry Kaplan’s music is known widely in both the US and abroad for its strong storytelling and for its simple and beautiful melody lines, and has been sung and recorded by many contemporary and traditional folk artists around the world. Accompanying himself on guitar and banjo, many of his works have deep roots in New England and respectfully capture the spirit that derives from small, often quiet events in history that have shaped the New England spirit, some serious, some funny, many eccentric.

Tony Garnier is an American bassist (both double bass and bass guitar), best known as an accompanist to Bob Dylan, with whom he has played since 1989. He is Dylan's longest-running sideman, and has sometimes been characterized as his "musical director" as well.
Garnier has also recorded with Tom Waits, Loudon Wainwright III, Paul Simon, Marc Ribot, Eric Andersen, Asleep at the Wheel, The Lounge Lizards, and Robert Gordon. Garnier worked with Michelle Branch on her 3rd album, Everything Comes and Goes, released in 2010.

Playing the Hammond B3 Organ, Jeremy leads his funky soul-jazz trio performing Blues, Jazz, and Roots Music. Jeremy’s style is informed by the current masters of the groove from the jam-band scene (Medeski, Martin, and Wood, Soul-Live, Derek Trucks Band.) He’s been playing festivals and jazz clubs in the New England region since the release of his first album. JB’s Band was also featured on Boogaloo to McDuff, a tribute to Jack McDuff, available on Scufflin’ Records. Back in the studio for his sophomore release, The Eel, on Flying Yak Records, Jeremy Baum knocks it out of the park with 10 Hammond organ and piano driven arrangements. It's an album of funky, bluesy new compositions as well as original arrangements of songs by Beck, Prince, James Brown and more. 
The Rock Tavern Chapter of the Hudson Valley Folk Guild, at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation at Rock Tavern, will be featuring John Fisher on Saturday, May 12 at 7:30 p.m. Open mic performances will be available to all. Cost of admission for this event is $6 ($5 for Folk Guild members and seniors).

Alan "Chip" White began the Dedications series in 2008 with Double Dedication, followed by More Dedications (2009) and Personal Dedications & Percussive Tributes (2011). Each includes Chip's original compositions and poems for the jazz masters from his book "I’m Just the Drummer in the Band". He released the fourth volume of his dedication series, Family Dedications and More, in December 2014 and it moved up to # 4 on the Jazz Chart.

Stereo Mike's is honored to have been chosen to open up the 2018 music calendar for Clemson Brothers Brewery in Middletown. This is our debut at this remarkable venue that is housed in an old hacksaw factory. Last summer, the venue petitioned the City of Middletown to abridge their noise ordinaces to allow for outside musical performances AND THEY WERE HEARD! They constructed a spectacular outdoor beer garden & stage that is the envy of those who promote live music. No cover, great location and of course, your favorite Mike's dishing out the songs you love arranged like you love them so you can enjoy them with the people you love. The beer meisters here are true artists and partaking in the liquid gold they produce adds to the vibe of the room. Let's show them what a Stereo Mike's show can do. For this concert, we’ve chosen a mix of songs that describe the prom many people experienced: awkward, uncomfortable, and for some, perhaps even deeply painful, and prom we wish we'd had: the positive, fun, self-affirming, inclusive prom that ALL kids deserve to have! All are welcome. Admission is a suggested donation of $10, though no one will be turned away for a lack of funds. Prom attire encouraged!!
