Gloria Attoun (Ah-TUNE), from a little river town of Augusta, Missouri, has been writing songs since she was a teenager and uses music and words to sort through her thoughts and feelings — trying to make sense of what goes on in this crazy and beautiful world. She started playing guitar when she was twelve and now plays a variety of instruments— guitar, banjo, mandolin, harmonica and other gadgets. In addition to her solo work, Gloria performs with the bands Augusta Bottoms Consort, The Texas Giants and with her husband, Michael Bauermeister and also sings with kids & their parents. Gloria’s albums “Seeds” and “Go” have been played all over the country and other parts of the world. She has recently recorded a video of a song called “Love is Much More Beautiful” which shares an inspiring and positive message. In addition to playing lots of music, Gloria coaches families with young children and is a community organizer. | ||
