Join us on the last Saturday of the month from October to December (10/29, 11/26, 12/31) as we co-create time and space for people of all walks of life to come together and enjoy three hours of playful dancing and mindful movement.
The first hour of the event is a guided warm-up and dance improvisation workshop led by Ophra Wolf of Force & Flow, followed by free and open jamming (i.e. time for you to move or observe as you please) starting at 3 PM and featuring live musical accompaniment.
October features the expansiev sounds of Craig Chin (errant.space) and DJ Chris Reiche.
Kids of all ages are welcome to the jam portion with adult supervision, the workshop at the start is suitable for adults and teenagers.
Dance improvisation is about moving from the inside, in a way that feels good and organic to your body, and a dance jam is a setting in which everyone is an equal part of co-cre

 Daisy Anabelle's introspective pop-infused melodic songs -- influenced by the likes of Carole King, Regina Spektor, Fiona Apple and Ingrid Michaelson -- were written both for personal expression and to connect with her listeners. Her debut EP, "My Own Person", features an eclectic mix of musical styles.
Denise Angelina Hunt is a singer/songwriter originally from Cold Spring, NY. Having crafted her own style of playing ukulele and guitar, it's difficult to place her into a specific genre. Her story-telling, heartfelt lyrics and organic melodies create a unique folk sound with an edge.  Known for his thrilling cello playing, new techniques, a unique mix of folk, bluegrass, jazz and R&B, Ben Sollee possesses a smoky vocal style and a knack for intricate arrangements.
Songwriter, composer, storyteller, Sollee has a reputation for a 360º approach to his art. The Kentucky native educates as much entertains through his innovative style as a cellist; conveying genre-bending songwriting through electrifying performances and non-traditional album presentation.
Sollee’s music is difficult to pin down. Following a performance at the Lincoln Center’s American Songbook series, the New York Times remarked how Sollee’s “…meticulous, fluent arrangements continually morphed from one thing to another. Appalachian mountain music gave way to the blues, and one song was appended with a fragment from a Bach cello suite, beautifully played.”
Sollee teams up with longtime collaborator, percussionist Jordon Ellis. The two dive deep into heavy cello and drum grooves. |

 Our once-monthly Open Mics are mainly Acoustic, but most styles of music are welcome. All talented artists are invited to take the stage and enjoy one of the most talked about music venues in Westchester.
Our Open Mics are hosted by the very talented and wonderful singer/songwriter, Jess Erick. Jess opens the night with her original songs, then keeps the music flowing and spirits high.
We have a full back line including mics, amps and a keyboard. And don't forget to bring your friends!

 Nineteen year old Guitar Slinger, Dylan Doyle, has been steeped in everything from Robert Johnson, John Lee Hooker, and Buddy Guy to Bob Dylan, Todd Snider and Jimi Hendrix and has been touring nationally since age fifteen.
Dylan has performed at the Grateful Garcia Gathering, one of the largest Grateful Dead festivals in the country and has played the King Biscuit Blues festival the last 3 years and has been invited back for 2016. He is looking forward to his first European tour in 2016.
After performing with Dylan in Memphis, sole surviving band member of the Otis Redding plane crash Ben Cauley said, “Dylan Doyle is like a young, white Jimi Hendrix.”

 With his newest group, Jay Collins and the Northern Resistance, Jay assembles the finest young Rock & Roll players in Upstate NY. Their new release, “The John Brown EP” (2016) has been produced by Olivier Chastan, and recorded direct to tape at Waterfront Studios in Hudson, NY. The studio resides in an old church whose beautiful acoustics are reminiscent of the famed Abbey Road Studios, and boasts some of the finest vintage equipment available.
For this recording Jay called on his band-mate from the Gregg Allman group, NYC guitarist Scott Sharrard, as well as the youthful sensation from Woodstock, guitarist and vocalist Connor Kennedy along with the rest of the “Northern Resistance”. The EP finds Collins singing and playing at the top of his game with 5 new songs--short and straight to the point, including his ambitious and historical telling, “John Brown”.

 Born in Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico, William Maisonet-Torres was influenced by his father, renowned percussionist William Maisonet Figueroa (a/k/a Papo Conga) and his mother Doris who sang and recorded a few Boleros. Willy quickly developed a keen ear, a natural affinity for percussion, and a deep love for the music of Puerto Rico.
Willy is a regular on the New York Latin session scene and has recorded vocals for Rey Ruiz, Tito Nieves, Alexandre Pires, Ricardo Montaner, Christian Castro, Gilberto Santarosa, Ricky Martin, to name a few.
He has released 3 albums "Willy's NYC Salsa Project" (2008), "Hardcore" (2011), and "On Another Path" (2015); has received 9 Grammy nominations; and is a 4 time Grammy awardee: 2004 (The Spanish Harlem Orchestra "Across 110 Street"), 2006 (Best Tropical Album Producer), 2010 (The Spanish Harlem Orchestra "Viva La Tradicion"), and 2013 (for collaboration & as guest artist for The Pacific Mambo Orchestra). Willy was nominated again in 2014/15.

 Still having a strong career since their inception in the 1970s, Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes have created a style combining rock and R&B that’s unique in the music world. Some of their songs are collaborations written by fellow rock star Bruce Springsteen. Famous albums of theirs include “I Don’t Want to Go Home”, “This Time It’s For Real”, and “Hearts of Stone”. Johnny and the Jukes have been repeatedly recognized and praised by Rolling Stones Magazine.  Petey Hop will have us Rockin' & Rollin', Hoppin' & Boppin' all night long! Pete's music runs the gamut from straight up Rock & Roll to Americana, Electric and Acoustic Blues to Singer/songwriter, and Alternative music. Petey's originals are powerfully written, musically intriguing and downright fun to listen to. Songs like "Little Johnny", "Westside" and the title track, "The Levee" have been met with high praise. Big Joe Fitz, radio host of of 100.1 Bluesbreak calls Pete "One of the finest guitar players in the Hudson Valley, hands down."
Pete's CD, "The Levee", reached #1 on the Roots Report for radio airplay. It was produced by Grammy-nominated Blues guitarist Duke Robillard, who's worked with many music industry legends. Duke wrote, "To those who don't know [Petey] yet, you will soon!"
