![]() Sunday 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm | A HOMECOMING! Stellar Songwriting, Stellar Singing with Marc Von Em Acoustic, Singer-Songwriter | 12 Grapes Music & Wine Bar 12 North Division Street Peekskill, NY See Map |
Marc Von Em is back "Home" in Peekskill, just after his 4th tour with the Rob Thomas Band. His original music is influenced by folk, funk and blues, with a few choice cover songs woven in. As one reviewer wrote: "If you haven't seen Marc Von Em perform live, you're only cheating yourself."Marc is able to create amazing amounts of sound and diversity through his voice and one faithful guitar. His chops are wide-ranging, from delicate finger picking to rambunctious Pete Townsend-type strumming. Marc is able to seamlessly switch his vibe -- his dynamic voice can go from smooth & soaring to smoky scatting. His harmonica playing is equally impressive and he sometimes uses it to accompany Muddy Waters-style blues on guitar. Rob Thomas wrote, "... when I heard his original stuff, I asked [Marc] to open up a 10,000 seat gig. Just him, his guitar, and his songs. He killed it!" Come help us welcome Marc back to our 12 Grapes stage! NO COVER. See Marc's performance with the Rob Thomas Band

Inspired by artists like Joni Mitchell & Norah Jones, Jessi creates folk-influenced songs that convey compelling stories of "serendipitous adventures & hopeless romanticism". We've watched Jessi grow and mature as an artist, and applaud her success. She's performed at Rockwell's (Lagond Songwriter Sessions), The Bitter End and Garcia's with The Lagond Allstar Band, among many other prestigious clubs. Her breakout EP, "Hollow" has received rave reviews. Jessi will join us the 4th Thursday each month from now thru July, bringing different artists each month. Tonight features Henry Mermer on drums, Sam Caldwell on keys, and Eugene Bisdikian on bass. Free Admission. Enjoy an $18 two-course dinner deal every Thursday night!
