He’s been playing festivals and jazz clubs in the New England region since the release of his first album. Back in the studio for his sophomore release, The Eel, on Flying Yak Records, Jeremy Baum knocks it out of the park with 10 Hammond organ and piano driven arrangements. It's an album of funky, bluesy new compositions as well as original arrangements of songs by Beck, Prince, James Brown and more. |

The proceeds raised during these monthly events go towards music scholarships. To date they've awarded 22 and will give four more over the next few months.

 Experience the irresistible grooves of South African jazz that inspired Paul Simon's Graceland with UHADI, masters of Johannesburg's jazz scene. Following their successful 2014 U.S. tour, UHADI comes to the Fisher Center for the final performance of their 2015 nationwide tour in a salute to Africa.

 Eclectic Paradise was founded in Peekskill N.Y. and is comprised of a group of multi-talented individuals influenced by Jazz, Neo-Soul, Gospel, and R&B. Since 2010 they have been featured on Word Above Water's original album; worked with local artists A-N-T and Griz; were featured on the album "No Detours" (2013), and have grown their fan base through working with Qu Boii. The band includes
Founder and drummer Philson "Phil" George Jr.; keyboardist John "Pookie" King Jr.; percussionist and vocalist Sanjra; and vocalist, Jaquon Welch (aka Qu Boi).

 Veteran musicians Joe Gil (trombone), Neil Alexander (organ and keyboards) and Nadav Snir-Zelniker (drums) have put together a new group called the "Thunderhead Organ Trio". The group is taking the concept of the organ trio in a new and different direction, drawing on many different influences and styles.
The group explores the grittier, rockier side of the genre referencing groups like the original Tony Williams Lifetime and mines the jazz standard repertoire for obscure gems and deep cuts.
The group will be playing original tunes, jazz standards, lost classics and rare gems.

The band has been together over 14 years and has performed every Thursday in Woodstock for the last nine years. Traditional bluegrass, new songs, some jazz, old country classics, originals by the band and favorite writers like John Herald and Tom Pacheco, all dot the driving repertoire that is marked by sweet three part harmony.

 Guitarist Larry Newcomb performs classic & original jazz and blues with his ensemble. Larry has contributed a wealth of electric & acoustic guitar stylings as a soloist and on gigs with Bucky Pizzarelli, Jack Wilkins, his duo Jonaitis & Newcomb, the band Wolfgang’s Revenge and with Babs Winn & the Kickin’ Boogie Band.
Larry has studied with guitar masters Bucky Pizzarelli, Mark Elf, Pat Martino and Randy Johnston. His affable performing style is informed by a PhD in music and a seasoned master’s understanding of the jazz idiom and its history.

 Dylan Doyle is creating a stir in the Hudson Valley music community. Born in the south to Yankee parents, he has been steeped in everything from Robert Johnson and Townes Van Zandt to Bob Dylan, Neil Young and Hendrix. From this comes a unique musical interpretation that lies somewhere within the delta of Rock, Rockabilly, and the Blues. Dylan was recently a featured artist in the Live Music Camp of this year's "Burning Man Event" as well as the 2014 King Biscuit Blues Festival, one of the biggest blues festivals in the country.
And he's getting noticed: "A seasoned guitar slinger in a young man's frame."
Dylan's band includes NY Blues Hall of Famers Vince Leggiere on bass and Papa John on drums. This is going to be awesome.
