with Miles Jakob & Leah Anne Siegel
The FALCON
1348 Route 9W
Marlboro, NY   See Map
High school students and close friends, Miles Jakob and Leah Anne Siegel have spent the year playing together throughout the Hudson Valley.

Leah's rich vocals are skillfully accompanied by Miles' guitar, with a repertoire of Leah's original songs as well as covers of current and classic artists. Favorites are their deconstructed version of Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit", and their original interpretation of Hozier's Cherry Wine with Leah's aching vocals and Miles' fluid finger picking.

Recent gigs include opening for the Brooklyn band "Acid House" at Dogwood, Beacon; the all-star Beacon Music Factory Band at The Falcon; and several performances at Quinn's, Beacon. They're grateful to be a part of an inspiring Hudson Valley community of musicians that is mentoring them for the musical adventure ahead.

JLH’s debut, No B!, was released in November 2014. Carla Ulbrich is a comical singer-songwriter from Clemson, South Carolina, currently living in New Jersey (in the lovely town of Exit 10). She cites her biggest musical influences as Sesame Street, camp songs, and cat food commercials. Frequently heard on Dr. Demento, Pandora and SiriusXM’s Laugh USA Channel, Carla has played all over the US: The Kerrville, Florida, and Falcon Ridge Festivals, Avalon Nude Folk Festival, Club Med, Eddie’s Attic, Bluebird Café, MENSA, NY Funny Songs Festival. Most impressively, she has opened for Twiggy the Water Skiing Squirrel and was an extra in the movie “Sharknado 2.” “Totally Average Woman” is Carla’s 6th CD.

Singer-Songwriter
High Falls Cafe
12 Stone Dock Road
High Falls, NY   See Map
“Kimberly is an exceptional Hudson Valley singer/songwriter. She has played in music venues from Maine to Oklahoma. She is accompanied by guitarist Bruce Hildenbrand, who adds much life to her songs.”

"Terry Seeley is a semi-retired songwriter and singer who has been fortunate enough to perform with many talented musicians since he was given his first guitar. He can still be found playing with Yankee Rose and Breakneck Neck Annie and, occasionally, like the ground hog, he comes out of his cave and plays a solo gig. Legend has it that if more than 20 people show up to see him, spring will come early. No pressure".

“Steve and Terri Massardo have been playing in and around and supporting live music in the Hudson Valley for over 20 yrs. They feel their greatest strength is in support of and singing and playing with other musicians. That's what they love most though Steve does write a good song every now and then! Life is good when it's in harmony!”

Marlboro, NY   See Map
Silver City Bound is Road Music. Rebel accordion. American wanderlust. It’s the music you blast when you're driving 1,300 miles from Brooklyn to New Orleans. With soulful harmony and award-winning songs, the band has rock and rolled from sold-out shows at Lincoln Center to concert halls, iconic dive bars and major festivals in twenty-six states and six countries. And they’re just getting started.

Based in New York City, Silver City Bound (formerly THE AMIGOS) was formed in 2011 by accordionist and keyboardist Sam Reider and guitarist Justin Poindexter. Calling themselves The Amigos, the pair got their start busting into college parties like guerrilla mariachis, jumping on top of cheap furniture and singing Hank Williams songs. They quickly became infamous in the New York music scene and a favored opening act for artists like Jon Batiste and Stay Human, the Carolina Chocolate Drops, and Sam Bush.

The saxophone player of choice for Gregg Allman, Levon Helm, & Donald Fagen, Jay Collins played on 2 Grammy-winning recordings with Mr. Helm, & a platinum-selling DVD with the Allman Brothers Band (Live at the Beacon Theater).

Jay has also been “moon-lighting” as a singer-songwriter for years. On vocals, his granite pipes prompted Time Out NY to note that, “His soulful ‘croak’ definitely deserves to be heard!” & Blues Revue said, “Jay Collins plays a hot saxophone, but he covers a lot more ground than that….”

Fronting his “Kings County Band” on gigs throughout the NY area, as well as continuing to perform & arrange with the horn section at Levon Helm’s Ramble in Woodstock NY, Jay also recently toured with The Dukes of September, a collective featuring Donald Fagen, Boz Scaggs, & Michael McDonald, & is currently the horn arranger & saxophonist for the Gregg Allman Band.

“He has a killer tone…”-Gregg Allman.

Orlando formed his first band, Eddie Palmieri and his Orchestra and, since then, has played with several different bands and has performed in the famous Palladium Ballroom. In 1997, Latin music historiographer Max Salazar presented Orlando a plaque in recognition of nearly five decades of uninterrupted contribution to Latin music. In January 2003, Orlando was invited by Latin Jazz station, WPFW, by the Arlington County (Virginia) Cultural Arts Division, and by the Latin American Folk Institute to do a live concert in Washington at The Spectrum Theater and in 2006, Congressman Jose E. Serrano honored Orlando as “The Last Mambo King,” for his continuing to provide Latin American music and his willingness to devote time to helping the less fortunate.
