For all of his accomplishments as an actor, best-selling author, and documentary subject, Rick Springfield’s first love has always been music, a passion he’s harbored since first picking up the guitar at the age of 12 in his native Australia. With 25 million records sold, 17 top-40 hits, including Don’t Talk to Strangers, An Affair of the Heart, I’ve Done Everything for You, Love Somebody and Human Touch, as well as a 1981 Grammy® for Best Male Rock Vocal for his No. 1 hit single “Jessie’s Girl,” Springfield shows no signs of slowing down. The singer incorporates personal stories about his music and life into the show and even adds a question and answer segment as a way to truly connect with his audiences. The “Stripped Down” tour gives Springfield a chance to perform some of his favorite songs that he has written over the years that never quite fit in his full band sets.

The Best Local Country Music Band in the Hudson Valley
with 4 Guns Ridge, 4 Guns Ridge
Country, Acoustic
Elsie's Place
1475 Route 208
Wallkill , NY   See Map
The members of 4 Gun Ridge have deep roots in Hudson Valley music. After leaving the days or their heavier bands, Joey's Throwin Elbows and Mearth behind, Donny Parker and Ian T. Fuller got the itch to start the edgy country project they had talked about for years. Before too long they stepped it up a notch with the addition of another rock and roller Duke LeBlanc on bass and Brother Adam Schreiner on drums. Fronted by Donny and his Gibson acoustic, 4 Gun Ridge plays original gritty cowboy rock the way you like it. The old time outlaw country influence is obvious but, they never shook off their dirty rock roots. Imagine upbeat southern rock played by upstate NY blue collar boys. Good tunes and good times.

Bookends performs Classic and Acoustic Rock from The Beatles, Cat Stevens, Creedence Clearwater, Dylan, The Eagles, Van Morrison, Springsteen, Hendrix and so much more. Songs from the '60s, '70s and beyond. The Band includes Chris Brown on acoustic guitar/vocals, Lou Bellofatto on keys/vocals, Eddie Denise on bass/vocals and Anthony Summo on electric guitar/vocals. Camela Widad
Americana, Singer-Songwriter, and Folk/Traditional
Hootenanny Cafe Mini Concerts
Online: www.wtbq.com or 93.5FM, NY   See Map
Camela Widad is an Americana Folk Roots troubadour: one part poetess and one part mystic, with a voice like honey and fire. Her songs have a distinct Nashville vibe; the hooks feel familiar and the melodies easy. Her new recording 'Warriors of Love' is a little bit old school folk meets 'sit on the back porch on a hot summer night'. Her voice begets a dichotomy: just a little bit saintly and a little bit rock-n-roll.

There will also be a few humor songs, and two Celtic style finger picking songs with a guest vocalist. I have been to a number of the Lunch 'N Listen shows, and I am happy to be invited to play this time. It is always a fun way to spend a Wednesday afternoon.

It's that time of the month again, for the ever so popular Open Mic Night at Aroma Thyme Bistro. All are welcome to Open Mic nights. This has become a monthly tradition at Aroma Thyme for the past three years. We have seen some incredibly talented acts. We are constantly amazed from locals to people that travel up to an hour to perform. ...Of course we have our regulars, which we love. And there's always a new act of some sort to welcome each month. Take a look at these past performers at Open Mic night:
