 Alan "Chip" White has just released the fourth volume of his dedication series, Family Dedications and More, in December 2014 and it has quickly moved up to # 4 on the Jazz Chart.
The Dedications series began in 2008 with Double Dedication, followed by More Dedications (2009) and Personal Dedications & Percussive Tributes (2011). Each includes Chip's original compositions and poems for the jazz masters from his book I’m Just the Drummer in the Band.
Chip has performed and/or recorded with a variety of artists, including Carman McCrae, Jaki Byard, John Abercrombie, Frank Wess, Chet Baker, Jimmy McGriff, Houston Person and Etta Jones, and Savion Glover, among others and his Ensemble has recently performed at Dizzy's Coca Cola/Jazz at Lincoln Center, the Kitano, Sweet Rhythm, and the Lenox Lounge in New York City.

There are few more versatile instruments than the harmonica. It can sound like many instruments, including voice, fiddle, horn, and percussion. It can also sound like a freight train or a dog howling at the moon.
This afternoon we'll learn basic skills used in blues, gospel, rock, folk, country and more, including playing in different positions such as 12-bar blues and note-bending.
Michael Farkas is a singer, song-writer and multi-instrumentalist. He is also the founding member of the band, THE WIYOS. Michael has toured extensively in the US and abroad, and is currently trying his hand at children's music with, LUCKY DIAZ AND THE FAMILY JAM BAND.

His tenure on the R&B and folk circuits has culminated in five critically acclaimed solo recordings and numerous appearances on the recordings of and performances with artists including Odetta, Jimmy LaFave, Ribbon of Highway Woody Guthrie Tribute, Greg Brown,Richard Shindell, Ellis Paul, Ronny Cox, Dave Moore, Andy White, and Bo Ramsey. His thirty year touring career has led him from the taverns of the upper Mississippi River to the castles of Italy, The Canary Islands, The Yup’ik villages of Alaska, The Kennedy Center and Carnegie Hall.

The band performs classic Swing music, Sinatra, Broadway selections and songs from the '40's, '50's and more.
Greg Westhoff has performed on the Tonight Show and is the orchestra drummer for "Family Guy". Greg also performed with Walter Murphy and the Big Apple Band on the popular disco-era hit " A Fifth of Beethoven". Members of the Swing Band are all professional musicians who've performed in Broadway pits and with numerous industry greats.

 Jazz vocalist, pianist, and composer Teri Roiger has been active on the jazz scene for many years, performing all over the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and Europe and is an integral member of the SUNY New Paltz Jazz Program. In 2011 Teri and husband John Menegon created JAZZSTOCK, an ongoing jazz festival in Woodstock NY.
Teri participates this year in the Lady Got Chops Women's Jazz Music Festival to celebrate the music of Billie Holiday, as it would be Billie's centennial year and Teri is recording a new CD of her music.
Writer & Cultural Critic Stanley Crouch, says that "To hear Teri Roiger is to experience that peculiarly beautiful combination of improvisation, tone, feeling, and phrasing that are distinct elements of jazz freedom. She is made for those who still understand the meaning of the term 'the real thing'."

 Shadetree plays a mix of standard and contemporary Blues covers as well as some interesting original songs (like The More I Drink, The Better You Look and Wash My Blues), Shadetree Mechanics delivers high-energy fun...with songs that range from Muddy Waters and Etta James to BB King and Buddy Guy to Eric Clapton and Hendrix. The band was runner up for the Jersey Shore Jazz & Blues Foundation (JSJBF) Memphis Blues competition the past four years.
Shadetree Mechanics includes Mike "The Rev" on vocals, percussion & washboard, Elmo John on bass, Mark Redman on guitar, Ray G on drums and Pat G on keys... and the occasional cameo by "washboard Rich". Come help us welcome Shadetree Mechanics back to our 12 Grapes stage. You won't sit down all night!!

The 90 Day Music Licensing Challenge starts on Monday, March 9th and will last for 90 consecutive days. This program is designed for anyone who wants to learn more about the music licensing business and license more of their music. Whether you are complete beginner or have already been licensing your music, but just want to do more, this program will provide the training and leads to further your success.
All types of music, instruments and vocals are welcome! Sign-ups start at 6:00 pm that night and music starts at 6:30 pm going until 9:00 pm. Each performer or group will get 2 songs or 10 minutes.
Bring your instruments and voices! Come to play or come to listen. Bring your friends for sure!! You will also now have a great selection of beverages and foods to purchase!
KJ Denhert is a singer/songwriter of international acclaim. KJ's special blend of "Urban Folk & Jazz" has earned her 4 Independent Music Award nominations and in '09, she was named one of Jazz.com's top female vocalists. KJ has been described as "A crowd pleaser whose music is impossible to classify, but very easy to enjoy."
