 Tickets for the 3nd Annual International Soup Bowl Benefit are on sale now. The Annual International Soup Bowl Benefit, an evening of music, conversation, soup and bread, with seating anytime between 5 to 8 p.m.
The event will feature an ongoing musical performance by the Jazz Pioneers, a non-traditional Big Band in Poughkeepsie, New York. They combine the classical swing sounds of Tommy Dorsey and Count Basie with music from visionaries like Buddy Rich and Maynard Ferguson, as well as more modern artists like Billy Joel and Brian Setzer. Throw in some jazzed-up arrangements of popular songs and a few other surprises, and you've got a great performance!

 This very straight ahead piano trio is so well done, has such enthusiasm and energy, that they are undoubtedly one of the best on the scene.They are not just good, they are uncommonly good.
Born in Tokyo, Japan, Tadataka Unno won first prize in the solo division at the Asakusa Jazz Contest in 2003, First Prize and the People's Favorite award at the Yokohama Jazz Promenade, was selected to attend Betty Carter's Jazz Ahead at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. in 2010, and also attended the Jazz Rising Stars Program of Ravina Festival in Chicago that same year.
Unno has performed and recorded with Japan's top bassist’s, Yoshio Suzuki's trio, trombonist Clifton Anderson, drummer Winard Harper, and jazz legends Geroge Mraz, Jimmy Cobb, Hassan J.J. Shakur, and Frank Wess, among others. As leader of his own trio, Unno has released a number of albums, all of which have received rave reviews and international recognition.

A seasoned NYC session player, Andy Stack decided to leave the city for the Hudson Valley in June 2013. Greg Westhoff has performed on the Tonight Show and is the orchestra drummer for "Family Guy". Greg also performed with Walter Murphy and the Big Apple Band on the popular disco-era hit " A Fifth of Beethoven". Members of the Swing Band are all professional musicians who've performed in Broadway pits and with numerous industry greats.

 For anyone who loves joyful, unpretentious, but highly creative and spontaneous jazz, Todd Londagin’s new album Look Out For Love will be a delightful discovery. In the company of four longstanding musical cohorts, Todd has assembled a repertoire of 10 songs, culled from the Great American Songbook and popular songs.
Bassist Jennifer Vincent and drummer David Berger have been playing with Todd since the early 1990s (all three were original members of the successful ‘90s band, The Flying Neutrinos); while pianist Matt Ray and guitarist Pete Smith have been performing with Todd since 2000. Together, they artfully and lovingly developed each piece like an assortment of delicious dishes combined together for a cohesive feast. As Todd explains, "each tune is an exercise in doing things in a different way." Unabashed swing is definitely a consistent mood throughout the CD.

His most recent CD, "Love Is A Cage" features an eclectic mix of songs, honed by hundreds of live performances and showcasing Milazzo's years of performing. Reflective of his time spent in NYC, the CD has come from broken relationships, interactions gone wrong, and stories of lost love affairs of the past.
