For over thirty years, Eric has been committed to composing, recording and performing contemporary American music. He plays the alto and soprano sax and flute and is featured as a leader and sideman on more than 50 recordings. His broad range of experience performing and recording with Dave Holland, McCoy Tyner, Chico Hamilton, John Hicks, Houston Person, and Donald Byrd have contributed greatly to his personal sound and his skills as an arranger and composer.

 The Chris O'Leary Band's music is rooted in the blues and steeped in the tradition of Memphis, Chicago with shades of New Orleans, rockabilly and big, high-energy sound.
Levon Helm can be heard in Chris's early sessions, and sitting in with regular gigs. Soon, Levon asked Chris to join the house band at his new club in New Orleans. Chris’s band relocated and became the focal point of Levon Helm's Barn Burners, backing up touring stars and opening for New Orleans' finest players.
Their third CD on the Vizztone label, 'Live at Blues Now!' was recorded in Basel Switzerland with very special guest Alex Schultz.

 Veteran musicians Joe Gil (trombone), Neil Alexander (organ and keyboards) and Jason Furman (drums) have put together a new group called the "Thunderhead Organ Trio". The group is taking the concept of the organ trio in a new and different direction, drawing on many different influences and styles.
The group explores the grittier, rockier side of the genre referencing groups like the original Tony Williams Lifetime and mines the jazz standard repertoire for obscure gems and deep cuts.
The group will be playing original tunes, jazz standards, lost classics and rare gems.

 Jazz Standard has been a musical home for the Chris Bergson Band for the past ten years and provided an ideal venue for their first live record. His new release, "Live at Jazz Standard" was recorded and co-produced by award-winning producer/engineer Roman Klun whose credits include albums by the Spin Doctors, Joan Osborne and the Holmes Brothers.The album was recorded live over two nights , with special guests; soul singer Ellis Hooks and a three piece horn section featuring baritone saxophonist Ian Hendrickson-Smith (Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings), tenor saxophonist David Luther (Bettye LaVette) and Grammy Award-winning trumpeter Freddie Hendrix performing horn arrangements by Jay Collins (Gregg Allman).

Mark Rust is a multi-talented singer and musician from Woodstock, NY. His show is a fun collection of original songs and stories about common experiences we’ve all shared while growing up in a family, as well as some traditional American “roots” music and songs. Mark’s performances showcase an impressive array of instruments including guitar, banjo, fiddle, piano and mountain dulcimer, as well as some beautifully hypnotic pieces for hammered dulcimer.
Mark starred in the Broadway musical hit Pump Boys & Dinettes, and has appeared in People Magazine performing on stage with Pete Seeger and Peter, Paul & Mary.

A viewing and memorial service will be conducted for Hudson Valley blues artist Little Melvin Underwood. Little Melvin was a very talented and inspirational blues performer. Originally from Mississippi, Little Melvin was a contemporary of B.B. King and was inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame in 2011. Visitation runs 5pm-7pm followed by a memorial service at 7pm.
