Sekanjabin is an eleven (plus!) piece international ensemble, infusing traditional Turkish music with rhythms and styles from around the world, re-imagined with not-so-traditional instrumentation. From salsa and flamenco to reggae to calypso, Sekanjabin breathes new life into centuries old folk music. The group's ever-changing cast boasts members from the US, Turkey, and Peru.

Whenever front-woman, Gulin Ciloglure, who spends most of her time in Turkey, returns to the US, Sekanjabin assembles! The result is a unique, high-energy live show that spills from the stage to the dance floor. Any opportunity to catch a rare Sekanjabin live performance is not to be missed!

Peekskill, NY   See Map
Ever dreamed of being in a lead singer in a band? Do you love singing into the mirror with your hairbrush as a mic? Than LBK is for you!!

12 Grapes' Live Band Karaoke is like traditional karaoke -- people choose a song from a list and sing when it's their turn-- but instead of a pre-recorded background track, the participants sing with a LIVE backing band, and even back-up singers. LBK is way more fun than singing to a pre-recorded track.

We have over 150 songs on our list, including '70s, '80s, '90s and contemporary pop/rock/soul. The list will be posted on the 12 Grapes Facebook page each month, so check it out.

Hosted by JP Patrick, with Tito Wilson on drums, Chris Burke on keys, Artie Walker on bass and Hank DeCora on guitar.

If you have any questions about our LBK, feel free to call: 914-737-6624.

Opening Act!
with Kathleen Grace
The FALCON
1348 Route 9W
Marlboro, NY   See Map
To hear singer-songwriter Kathleen Grace’s singular, sophisticated take on country music is to hear an artist coming into her own. Her new, career-defining album, No Place to Fall, was only just released in May.

Long known as one of jazz’s rising stars, Grace has three albums to her credit. But in the years since her 2009 release, Mirror, Grace has planted her jazz roots in the soil of classic country music. No Place To Fall marks Grace’s emergence as a mature singer-songwriter, as well as a daring song stylist.

Praised as “smart, alluring and evocative” by The Washington Post, Grace boldly presents her own dynamic original music alongside revelatory covers of artists as diverse as Tom Waits, Townes Van Zandt and The Meat Puppets.
