The show will feature Cash’s new dimensional paintings and portraits in space-modulating installations. Some pieces will span the entire width of the club. Some will include the tables, integrating elements of his light sculpture to the surprise and delight of the Falcon audience!
What does this Work-in-Progress mean? It means the show is alive. It will change frequently as Cash respond to the space, the music and the experience on a weekly basis.
Sydney Cash's studios are nearby in Marlboro. With a key to the club, his work-in-progress may happen at any time, day or night.  Woodstock singer-songwriter Simi Stone's “Mountain Motown” can’t be contained in a single word or sentence. She plays violin, guitar and percussion and boasts a huge, versatile voice. She writes catchy pop tunes, dance numbers, and compelling, introspective folk songs. The multi-talented multi-instrumentalist tours with Simone Felice’s band, the Duke and the King, and has performed with Denis Leary’s band on Conan O’Brien’s TV show.
Simi Stone has led a variety of bands, including Slithy Toves and “Afro-Punk” group Suffrajet, and shared stages with the Roots, Erykah Badu, Conor Oberst, Natalie Merchant, Cheap Trick, Urge Overkill, and Joan Jett.
Her upcoming solo album, for which she raised over $8,000 from fans in a Kickstarter campaign, features drummer Zack Alford (Bruce Springsteen, David Bowie, Vernon Reid), bassist Sara Lee (Gang of Four, B-52s, Ani DiFranco), and bassist Gail Ann Dorsey (David Bowie, Tears for Fears). |

Deborah Fisher Palmarini is a mom of 5 sons and multi-faceted Sullivan County artist who has been writing songs and creating art since she was 7 years old.
Her claim to fame includes having over 100 songs copyrighted with the Library of Congress, touring with her bands around the US and releasing two albums (so far.) Her passion for blues is clear as her sultry sometimes raw always electrically charged voice pulls you in and rocks your soul. Deborah has been a regular guest performer with the T Blues Band at Terra Blues on Bleeker Street, in NY City, donates time and talent doing ministries at prisons and Drug Rehabilitation Centers, while recording her third CD, creating doodle art and keeping her day job working as an aid in a Catholic School.

 Ben Flocks, currently residing in Brooklyn, is a saxophonist, composer, and educator from Santa Cruz, California. Ben took advantage of a multitude of musical opportunities in the San Francisco Bay Area, studying with Trumpeter/Composer/Arranger Ray Brown. Ben was selected by Dave Brubeck as a Brubeck Institute Fellow in 2007, where he had the opportunity to study with Joe Gilman, Jeff Ballard, Christian McBride, Eric Harland, and Taylor Eigsti. He also traveled and performed at the Detroit Jazz Festival, The Kennedy Center, The Russian Embassy, and the Library of Congress in Washington D.C. with Dave Brubeck. Ben has performed with Joshua Redman and Yosvany Terry and kicked off the 2010 Monterey Jazz Festival with his own group.

| MIKE AGRANOFF is one of those folk performers that steadfastly defies categorization, and yet amasses stalwart fans from folk aficionados of all categories. He draws his material from sources as diverse as traditional ballads and fiddle tunes, Tin Pan Alley, contemporaries in the Folk World, and his own witty pen. He delivers it with a skilled hand on guitar, piano, and concertina, an almost telepathic transmittal of the essence of the song, and occasionally a sly twinkle in the eye in anticipation of some of the most horrible parodies ever perpetrated on an unsuspecting audience. Not a prolific songwriter, he prefers to call himself a "singer-songfinder", taking great delight in uncovering brilliant and little known gems, putting his unique stamp to them, and bringing them to public notice. A signature feature of Mike’s performances are his inclusion of some heart-stopping spoken word pieces that rivet the listener to unforgettable stories.

 LBK is way more fun than singing to a pre-recorded track! 12 Grapes' Live Band Karaoke is like traditional karaoke -- people choose a song from a list and sing when it's their turn-- but instead of a pre-recorded background track, the participants sing with a LIVE backing band, and even back-up singers.
The band will have a varied song list from the '70s, '80s, '90s, contemporary rock and more so check the list when you get here.

 Sculptor Sydney Cash mounts a three month ”work-in-progress” exhibition at The Falcon in Marlboro NY, beginning February 2014.
The show will feature Cash’s new dimensional paintings and portraits in space-modulating installations. Some pieces will span the entire width of the club. Some will include the tables, integrating elements of his light sculpture to the surprise and delight of the Falcon audience!
What does this Work-in-Progress mean? It means the show is alive. It will change frequently as Cash respond to the space, the music and the experience on a weekly basis.
Sydney Cash's studios are nearby in Marlboro. With a key to the club, his work-in-progress may happen at any time, day or night. This is a very special opportunity for the artist, whose experimental ideas will be manipulated in continuing improvisation, complimenting the music being performed, and engaging an audience that wants to be thrilled with “all that jazz”. |

 Back by popular demand, on Friday, February 21, the Kleinert/James Center for the Arts presents Byrdcliffe's 3rd kick-up-your-heels swing dance party, featuring live music by the beloved Saints of Swing. The Saints of Swing will play favorites from Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman and more, taking our guests on a trip through time. Dancers will be equally transported by the soulful tones of legendary vocalist Miss Rene Bailey.
The evening starts with a 30 miniute dance lesson by Chester & Linda from Got2Lindy. They'll teach "social dance" skills -- everyone dances with others in rotation, permitting those wanting to participate to come to events without a partner, very common in the dance community. Whether you come alone or with friends, you'll always have a partner. When the music dies down, you'll leave with songs in your head, a lighter step, and the knowledge that you are part of keeping Byrdcliffe, America's longest continually operating arts colony, going strong.

 Fred Gillen Jr. cut his teeth as bassist in the popular roots-rock band Rain Deputies before going solo in 1997. He has released numerous CDs and was voted "Best Folk Artist" for 3 consecutive years by readers of The Westchester Weekly.
Matt Turk is a soulful vocalist, who plays the guitar, mandolin and lap steel. He adeptly combines various musical styles and was inspired to write songs of social justice by Pete Seeger and by his three-year stint working for God's Love-We Deliver. Matt has released a number of highly acclaimed albums.
In 2008, Gillen & Turk released their first duo CD, Backs to the Wall. Their song, Fall Down, appeared on CMJ's 10,000 copy 2008 Player Compilation CD and they were featured on NYC Soundtracks on the MSG network.
