Saturday 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm | Opening Act! with Lost Leaders, Peter Cole, Byron Isaacs, Lee Falco | The FALCON 1348 Route 9W Marlboro, NY See Map |
If you took your copies of Deja Vu, Bookends, Full Moon Fever and Disraeli Gears and melted them into one L.P. it might sound like Lost Leaders, the alchemical brew of Peter Cole and Byron Isaacs.
The project was born at Levon Helm's studio in Woodstock, N.Y. in the winter of 2011. Peter and Byron took a week between Saturday Rambles and worked out original tunes with Grammy-winning house engineer Justin Guip running back and forth from drum kit to console. As the record neared completion they performed the material for the first time by opening a Midnight Ramble. While waiting to release the resulting record, Lost Leaders created a series of live performance videos covering some of their favorite material (including their own). Their two voices and two guitars contrast with the lushness of the studio recordings. Their arrangements of songs by Beck, Pete Pete Townsend, Neil Young and Tom Petty illustrate their haunting vocal blend and instrumental ingenuity.

| With a thumping thumb, dancing fingers, deep gritty soul stirring vocals, wailing harp and poetic blue-collar lyrics, Taylor oozes American roots. He draws comparisons to Tom Waites, Chris Smither, Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan, and Ray Lamontagne, while his lyrics are colored by his own working class wandering roots. He's been an oysterman, carpenter, hitchhiker, homeowner, father, 'thru-hiker' (Appalachian Trail, Long Trail & John Muir Trail) and musician. He plays venues from New England to Nashville and his latest release “Home,” spins on folk radio worldwide. He is currently spearheading the SandyHookSongsForHope.org CD fundraiser project. "Shawn is a master balladeer & troubadour,” says Remo Ricaldone of American Roots Radio, Italy. “Taylor has mellowness to his voice that works well against the frenetic flash of finger-picking that is the foundation of his songs… It is Americana stripped of its outer skin.” – The Alternateroute.com | ||

| Michael, 21 Avery, 17; and Nadia Cole, 14, started singing together in 2007 after their mother, Felicia, was in a head-on car collision with a drunk driver, which landed her in an eight month coma. They serenaded their mother for months. She eventually came out of the coma and started rehabilitation. They began traveling to nursing homes and hospitals in an effort to help other patients. In 2009 the NBC's "America's Got Talent", allowed the group to beat out more than 100,000 hopefuls and make it to the top five. Voices of Glory wanted to show their family and fans how much they had inspired them. Parents across America rooted for this gifted trio to the finals. They got their wish. These kids faced adversity with hope and a positive attitude. Voices Of Glory will be introducing the family and their newly published book "Higher Than Me" The Story Of Voices Of Glory. | ||

The Chris O'Leary Band's music is rooted in the blues with shades of New Orleans, rockabilly and big, high-energy sound. Levon Helm can be heard in Chris's early sessions, and sitting in with regular gigs. Soon, Levon asked Chris to join the house band at his new club in New Orleans. Chris’s band relocated and became the focal point of Levon Helm's Barn Burners, backing up touring stars and opening for New Orleans' finest players. Chris continued to tour with the Barn Burners and in 2007, formed a new band, including fellow Barn Burner Frankie Ingrao on bass, guitarist Chris Vitarello (already known from his tasty, incendiary work with the Bruce Katz Band), and drummer Sean McCarthy. O'Leary's band was a big hit at The Falcon’s first New Year's Eve Celebration, and continues to impress our music savvy crowd.
