Sonia Greenfield was born and raised in Peekskill and now calls Los Angeles home. Her poetry has been published in a variety of journals including The Massachusetts Review, The Antioch Review, and Rattle. She was a Pushcart nominee for 2011, and her work can also be found in the 2010 Best American Poetry. Her first piece of short fiction is to be published in The Bellevue Literary Review. She is in the Masters of Professional Writing program at USC and thanks her father for providing her with literary genetics. William Greenfield began writing poetry in college, and thanks his daughter for the spark that got him writing again. He has spent virtually his entire working career in the public service sector; first with the Federal Government and more recently with New York State. His poems have appeared in The Barbaric Yawp, The Storyteller, and he won The Storyteller’s People’s Choice Award. He lives up in Sullivan County in the middle of the woods, and he likes it there. | ||

Dylan Doyle is creating a stir in the Hudson Valley music community. Born in the south to Yankee parents, he has been steeped in Robert Johnson, Townes Van Zandt, Lightin Hopkins, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, and Hendrix. Dylan's unique interpretation lies somewhere within the delta of rock, rockabilly, and the blues. He was chosen to be part of the line-up at the 2013 King Biscuit Blues festival and has been touring nationally since the age of 15. His mentor, Rob Stoner, Bob Dylan's former band leader and bassist on Don McLean's "American Pie", says Dylan is the most prodigious guitarist he has taught in his almost 50 years of teaching music. Although Popa Chubby grew up in the 1970s, he took his cue from artists of the '60s, including Sly & the Family Stone, Jimi Hendrix, and Eric Clapton, among others. Chubby's first big break was winning a national blues talent search sponsored by KLON, in Long Beach, California. He won the New Artist of the Year award and opened at the Long Beach Blues Festival in 1992. Chubby played more than 200 club dates a year through the '90s. Electric Chubbyland, a two-disc set of Chubby covering Jimi Hendrix songs, appeared from Dixie Frog in 2005. In 2008, Chubby released the country-punk-inflected Vicious Country on Dixie Frog, followed by a return to blues rock in 2010 with The Fight Is On. The year 2011 found him moving to the Provogue label for the album Back to New York City. Universal Universal Breakdown Blues followed in 2013 and featured Chubby's cover version of "Over the Rainbow" as its centerpiece. | ||

| Susan Greenbaum is a singer-songwriter. She has released five CDs; the latest is entitled, “This Life” is on Compass Records. Susan has won several national songwriting awards, including the Smithsonian Songwriters’ Award, the Philadephia Songwriters Project, and the Mid-Atlantic Songwriting Contest. Susan has opened for a wide array of musical luminaries, including performing with Jason Mraz and touring with Jewel. She has been featured twice in Billboard Magazine, and country/Americana music website “Roughstock” calls her “a songwriting talent to be reckoned with,” comparing her writing and singing to Mary Chapin Carpenter and Bonnie Raitt. Amy Helm’s deep musical roots were enriched by a lifetime of exposure to the finest expressions of American musical tradition. The Monday night jazz sessions at the new Beacon, NY music venue Quinn's had an exciting launch in 2013. The series presented dozens of extraordinary musicians who performed in the widest spectrum of styles possible for the music, ranging from the 1920's New Orleans jazz of King Oliver to freely-improvised vocal explorations sent through digital pitch-shifters and reverberation to create otherworldly textures — and everything in between. 2014 promises to be an even more exciting year for the series, which will continue in the new year on Monday, January 6, when thelegendary Poughkeepsie-based multi-instrumentalist and composer Joe McPhee performs with the equally celebrated bassist and long-time musical parter, bassist Dominic Duval, performing as their project, The Dream Book. The Flaming Meatballs are the latest young talent to emerge from the Hudson Valley. Their musical interest is based in the blues but their set list also includes an interesting combination of folk/ country, and rock. They offer unique interpretations of songs they cover as well as original blues.George Amenta first picked up a guitar when he was six and has never looked back. He has developed a powerful and articulate style and has garnered attention for his bottleneck slide playing. Younger brother John started playing drums 5 years ago and that unique brother bond developed into The Flaming Meatballs. In May of 2013, Leah Nikolaya joined the band with her powerful vocals and solid bass playing. Her soulful rendition of “House of the Rising Sun” and nuanced phrasing on Lead Belly’s, “In The Pines”, show a maturity and vocal control beyond her years. Inspired by greats such as Ella Fitzgerald & Sarah Vaughan, Lydia Pidlusky enjoys singing bebop as much as crooning a ballad. Praised for her angelic tone and wide range, her voice is a highlight of the Stronghold video games soundtrack which continues to have fans worldwide. She will be in the recording studio later this month as lead vocalist for the Richard Sorce Project, preparing to release their first album of original Latin jazz.Contemporary Jazz Guitarist Jeff Ciampa showcases an extraordinary fluid guitar style steeped in the jazz tradition, and has worked and toured with some of the most demanding practitioners including vocalists Harry Belafonte, as well as Dave Matthews, Bill Evans, and Ornette Coleman. Bassist Don Miller has spent much of the past three decades performing, recording, and traveling throughout the US and the world with such artists as Dizzy Gillespie, Tony Bennett, George Benson, Clark Terry, and too many others to list. | ||

Harry Rios & the Nippy Thieves is a trio made up of amazing talent: Harry Rios on keys, Matt Norris on drums and David Cartategui on bass. The band performs Pop Funk R&B Old School Soul and original music by Rios. Harry is a multi-instrumentalist, music educator and soulful R&B vocalist. Harry has also spent time as a studio musician and producer. His credits include projects with Wyclef Jean, Lauryn Hill, Kay Gee from Naughty by Nature, Common, and Slick Rick.
