| With a voice like amber honey, and a twinkle in her eye that makes everyone in the audience think she is sharing a secret with them alone, Claudia Nygaard’s brilliant storytelling overflows from her songwriting into her live performance. Her writing is emotionally fearless, with a rare vulnerability and tenderness one moment, then a quick wit and irreverant sense of humor the next. Her songs move from heartfelt to humorous and from scrappy to sensual, and all the while the stories she tells in between them are as entertaining as the songs themselves. A former Nashville Music Row staff songwriter and a winner of the Kerrville, TX Folk Festival songwriting competition, Nygaard has learned her craft well. Her latest CD “Let The Storm Roll In” rose to the coveted #1 position on the Roots Country Chart and #8 on the Folk DJ Chart - with every one of her self-penned compositions receiving airplay! | ||

Cyrille Aimée was born in Fontainebleau, France, to a French father and Dominican mother. Every June, her village, Samois-sur-Seine, welcomes gypsies from all over Europe to set up caravans in nearby meadows for the Django Reinhardt Festival, in honor of the legendary guitarist who also once lived in Samois-sur-Seine. As a child, Cyrille fell in love with gypsy music and way of life. She spent evenings at their camps, learned their language and began to sing by the fire with Django's descendants. Adept at guitar, it was Cyrille's voice that struck her professor, who invited her to sing at the Django Festival in 2000. Cyrille's major label debut will occur in 2013 with the album, "It's a Good Day." Produced by Fabrice DuPont (Shakira) at Flux Studios, it's a journey of jazz/pop infused with a gypsy spirit. | ||
