 Murali Coryell is a triple threat contemporary blues artist who can sing, write and play guitar with the best in the business. As the son of guitar legend Larry Coryell, Murali grew up around the likes of Jimi Hendrix, Miles Davis, & Carlos Santana. Over the years Murali has toured with father Larry Coryell and Joe Louis Walker as a featured artist and appeared many times as supporting act for B.B. King.
Following up with a first live recording, Shake-It-Sugar Records is proud to announce the release of MURALI CORYELL-LIVE CD/DVD. Featuring 13 soul-drenched originals plus covers of Marvin Gaye's "What's Going On", Sam Cooke's "Bring It On Home To Me" and Lowell Fulson's "Love Her With A Feeling", the CD was recorded live at Club Helsinki in Hudson, NY July 30, 2012 -- the bonus DVD was recorded at The Roots & Blues Festival in Salmon Arm, BC August 14, 2010.

The beloved guitarist has developed a very personal style that sets him apart.
Ed is a seven-string guitarist and vocalist, performing in concerts and clubs throughout the New York area, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Feinstein’s, Smalls Jazz Club, The Iridium, Birdland, PNC Arts Center, Bickford Theatre, NJ-PAC, Berrie Performing Arts Center, and Les Paul Museum.  Jim Weider, former member of the legendary group The Band and member of the Levon Helm Band, is a Master of classic Telecaster Guitar. Jim has been featured on numerous albums, films, videos and television appearances. Highlights included a 1990 performance with The Band and Ronnie Hawkins at The Berlin Wall, a concert produced by Roger Waters of Pink Floyd; cable TV specials (notably "The Bob Dylan Tribute" at Madison Square Garden; "The Road," a 1994 pay-per-view concert telecast from the Woodstock '94 Festival; and a 1995 appearance on the A&E Biography documentary "The Authorized Video Biography The Band"

 You could say RoseAnn Fino grew up in the sticks - on a farm far enough away from any town, but close enough to New York City that she could feel its pull from an early age. Her parents were avid fans of 'ole country standards and rock & roll. She grew up in nightclubs and concert halls, following musicians that would be her idols. When she was five her father put a guitar in her hands. Eighteen years later, she still hasn’t put it down. RoseAnn headed to NYC when she was seventeen. There she found her voice as a songwriter, while keeping her country roots. She graduated from Hunter College with a degree in music and writing. Today, she lives in Queens with her friends and a black cat named Luna, writing songs by day and slinging drinks by night as a bartender. She is currently gigging around the city and finishing her first album, produced by Professor Louie, to be released later this year on Woodstock Records. |

 The Wiyos have been rolling for over a decade. They were one of the first "old-timey" bands to emerge on the national scene in the first wave of acoustic bands riding the renewed popularity of early swing jazz, rural folk, old-time blues and Appalachian music. Their relentless touring in the US and Europe, and numerous critically acclaimed albums and EPs landed them a full 28-day summer tour as openers of the 2009 Bob Dylan Show.
In 2012, The Wiyos released their fan-funded concept album, Twist, a 14-track eclectic musical collage loosely based on The Wizard Of Oz. Of course, The Wiyos are mostly known for their amalgamation of "old timey" sounds, but on Twist the band lets their late 20th Century upbringings creep in with their vintage sensibility.
Scotland's The Herald called it [everything from] "junkyard blues to Cuban neighborhood via surf song harmonies and backwoods Appalachia... a fascinating travelogue."

 Billy Rogan is known for his instrumental acoustic work in the styles and techniques of Michael Hedges, Leo Kottke, Keller Williams and Kaki King. One of the most original guitarists in NYC, Rogan has a fine reputation throughout the underground music scene working in various genres. His compositions combine classical and modern finger style and new age sounds. Rogan has had the opportunity to sit in with Mike Gordon of Phish, Joe Russo of The Dead, Ween, Benvenento Russo Duo and Scott Murawski as part of Mike Gordon's Mossery Jam, friend Carl Brunsdon of The British Pink Floyd Show and Richie Cannata of Billy Joel. Rogan has been featured at Terminal 5 for the prestigious "The One Show Interactive Awards" and been awarded recognition through the American Society of Composers and Publishing's (ASCAP) websites in the highly acclaimed Audio Portrait Series. |

In 1966, a boy sat in a movie theater & watched the evolution of life and the rise and fall of the dinosaurs, accompanied by incredible music. The film was Walt Disney’s “Fantasia”, the music, Igor Stravinsky’s “The Rite of Spring” and the young boy was Neil Alexander – me. The pounding rhythms and striking dissonances etched themselves into my subconscious, influencing & informing my musical life for decades to come.
In light of the Centennial of this game changing – and life changing – piece of music, I am gloriously proud to be bringing the “100 Years Of Spring” project back to my “home turf”, The Hudson Valley.

| Tret Fure began her career at 16, singing in coffeehouses and on campuses in the Midwest. At 19, she moved to LA where, within a year she was the guitarist and vocalist for Spencer Davis, touring with him and penning the single for his album “Mousetrap”. In 1973, she recorded her own album on MCA/UNI Records, with the late Lowell George as producer. With the success of that release, she opened for Yes, Poco, and the J Geils Band. In the early 80s, Tret discovered Women’s Music. She recorded with and produced some of the best of women’s music including the legendary “Meg & Cris at Carnegie Hall”. She worked as a duo with Cris Williamson through the 90s, producing, engineering and releasing 3 CDs together in those years. Tret has 5 releases on her own label, Tomboy girl Records and has won numerous awards for her work and life. Tret serves as President of Local 1000, The Traveling Musicians Association--a union geared toward helping traveling musicians find security and longetivity |

All types of music, instruments and vocals are welcome! Sign-ups start at 6:00 pm that night and music starts at 6:30 pm going until 9:00 pm. Each performer or group will get 2 songs or 10 minutes.
