Sasha Papernik is a Russian-American classical pianist, singer, and songwriter who draws on her dueling heritage and love of nature to craft smart, atmospheric songs spanning the genre and continental divide. Scriabin, Prokofiev, Irving Berlin, Russian folk songs, and originals appear in her repertoire.

The critically acclaimed artist has been featured at Lincoln Center's esteemed Meet The Artist series and will perform at Carnegie Hall’s popular program, Musical Explorers. After a 30-year hiatus, the New Swing Sextet has reunited, evoking the heyday of salsa and Latin boogaloo while introducing elements of jazz and pop that speak to aficionados and new audiences alike. They have been a popular and innovative exponent of Latin jazz, salsa and pop music for nearly four decades.

In 2008, three and a half decades later, George Rodríguez united the latest version of NSS featuring vocalist Angel Justiniano on congas, with his brother Harry Justiniano on bass and chorus, Jose ‘Cheo’ Medina as lead vocalist, Joseph Mannozzi Jr. on piano, multitalented Tomas Martin Lopez on timbales, bongos and chorus sharing duties with Hector Ortiz on timbales and bongos to record “Back On The Streets” spawning Fania’s comeback onto the current music industry - and garnering a Grammy Nomination!

Time once again for our monthly presentation of Greg Westhoff's Westchester Swing Band! This world-class 18-piece Big Band features a full horn section with 5 sax's, 4 trombones, 4 trumpets, and the inimitable talents of drummer and bandleader Greg Westhoff. The band performs classic Swing music, Sinatra, Broadway selections and songs from the '40's, '50's and more. Greg Westhoff has performed on the Tonight Show and is the orchestra drummer for "Family Guy". Members of the Swing Band are all professional musicians who've performed in Broadway pits and with numerous industry greats.

Gwen Gould will lead the July 8 Sing, which will include Mozart's “Requiem, K. 626,” and “Ave Verum Corpus, K. 618.” Michael Clement will provide piano accompaniment. Gould has enjoyed a diverse career in music as a recitalist, music director, conductor, and entrepreneur.  She founded the Columbia Festival Orchestra, the West Village Chorale, Diamond Opera Theater, and ClaverackLanding. A national competition finalist, she performed extensively as a solo recitalist and developed a career as an organist and director of music in New York City.
