Incolor is an indie-acoustic project consisting of compositions by lead vocalist/guitarist, Mike Kendall. ![]() -- Tad Hendrickson, CMJ New Music Report The avant-jazz supergroup, Other Dimensions in Music, closes out the new evening music series for its first season at the Chapel of Our Lady Restoration on Saturday, November 5th at 7:30 PM. Each member of the ensemble -- Roy Campbell, Jr. on trumpet, fluegelhorn and flute; Daniel Carter on saxophones, clarinet, flute and trumpet; William Parker on bass; and Charles Downs on drums -- is a master improviser as well as recognized leader on multiple instruments, making ODIM an incomparable musical experience. MOPCO brings its unique brand of improv to Proctors -- Friday nights at 8:00pm. Created by Kat Koppett in association with Freestyle Repertory Theatre in New York, Spontaneous Broadway is a virtouso evening of musical improv. The audience submits titles of "songs that have never been written". In a fictional "backer's audition", these titles inspire improvised songs in act one. In act two, the audience's favorite song serves as the basis of an entire (45 minute) Broadway musical, complete with costumes and set.
