 Reservoir Music Center has been serving the Hudson Valley’s music community for the past 5 years, and to commemorate the milestone, owner Fred Perry is throwing a party at The Bearsville Theater.
Headlining the show is Pitchfork Militia, whom Mr. Perry insists is the best band around. Frontman Peter Head calls their music, “A mish-mash of rock, blues, country, and punk that we call apocabilly. It’s fun, it’s fast, it’s loud!”. Perry just calls it psychobilly, and says if you didn’t know they were the best band in the Hudson Valley, you will after tonight! Arlene McCann is a Philadelphia based singer/songwriter who’s lyrics bleed through each strum of her guitar. In 2003 she got her feet wet with the release of her debut album asidefromyou. Since then, the lyrics and tunes have been writing themselves through her emotional wit, and catchy, but edgy melodies.
She was voted Forte’s (young professionals of the Kimmel Center, Philadelphia) ‘Chosen’ local musician, and played a special set for the honor of the award in March of 2010.
Arlene tries to make the audience feel at home with her jokes and stories in between songs, as well as the ability of the audience to relate to her writhingly emotional lyricism.
With her sweet voice and her rough chords she will draw you in to her world of poetry, love, pain, and you will not be sorry you came.

 Tin Pan connotes a world of jazz, blues and American popular song. The band has created a rabid following by playing music that resonates powerfully because its intention is pure - to make people dance, smile and conjure with the spirit of music itself. On their new album, Hound's Tooth, the band has perfected their sonic vision - effortless, wondrous and festive, feeling much like, as the band describes themselves, Ray Charles and Tom Waits at a Bourbon Street Parade.
With Jesse Selengut on trumpet, lead vocals and compositions, Clifton Hyde on guitar and hollerin', Stefan Zeniuk on reeds and boy soprano vocals, and Peter "Baby Hands" Maness on bass and some singin', Tin Pan evokes everything from Fats Waller and Louis Armstrong to Irving Berlin and Hoagy Carmichael. The Tin Pan Band was founded in 2006 by Selengut, a long time New York based musician, and the curator of the Williamsburg Jazz Festival.

The Hurricanes is led by guitarist Chris "Otis" Cross. Chris was an original member of the legendary "Blue in the Face" band, was on the road with Debbie Davies, and has opened and played with icons like James Montgomery, Mark Naftalin, Buddy Guy, Johnny Winter and Buckwheat Zydeco. With Richard Crooks on drums, "Smokin' Joe" Najmy on keys/vocals, Chris Bishop on bass/vocals, Crispin Cieo and Doug Bernsteon sax, all veteran musicians who've performed with music legends from Bob Dylan and Leon Russell to Wilson Pickett and James Brown. Marc has toured nationally and internationally with the Rob Thomas Band. Rob remarked, "I asked him to open up a 10,000 seat gig. Just him, his guitar, and his songs. He killed it!" Marc has also shared bills with such artists as Lucy Kaplansky, Martin Sexton, Richie Havens, Glenn Tillbrook and others. One reviewer writes: "... I can genuinely say if you haven't heard or seen him live, you are only cheating yourself." Marc has three CD's that are each amazing. His second studio recording, entitled "Free", has sold more than 6,000 copies. Marc has been working on his next solo CD, expected to be released soon.

Some of you may already know Nate, who was born & raise near here, and subsequently met Kate in Central NY where their music has gotten airplay from NPR. :|: The music of the Twangtown Paramours has been called "Sophisticated Americana," and is a hybrid of the Nashville and Austin music scenes. Their debut album was #11 on the Folk DJ chart in August, 2010 and remained in the top 40 of the Country Roots chart for the Summer of 2010. In February, the Twangers were named one of the Artists on the Verge for 2011 by the Bluegrass Special magazine, and in May they were chosen as finalists in the prestigious Kerrville New Folk competition. Their songs can be heard on over 70 Americana, Folk, and independent Country radio stations.

latest musical project from our old friend Mike Moss. YASGUR is a Rock, Rhythm & Blues quartet of like minded musicians who enjoy, Blues, Jazz, David Bromberg,and the Grateful Dead.
The fellas are from Sullivan County and got together through a jam session at The Dancing Cat Saloon. YASGUR is named in tribute to dairy farmer Max Yasgur who offered his property to hold the famed Woodstock Music & Arts Festival in 1969. YASGUR the band continues that spirit and is 'nothing but fun and music' consisting of Rich Johanson on guitar and vocals, Dan Berger on Harmonica, Cecil Allen on Bass, and Mike Moss on Drums. 
Enjoy a summer evening in beautiful Cornwall-On-Hudson listening to the band! We will be at the bandstand on the corner of Hudson St and River Ave!!
