With a repertoire that spans from Ella Fitzgerald, Etta James and Anita Baker to Stevie Wonder to the pop band Journey, Rhonda puts a soulful spin on everything she sings, with a voice that will take your breath away.

Chris songwriting style encompasses a wide swath influences including folk, blues, 60's and 70's rock, and current alternative bands. His unique synthesis of these roots has created a sound that is fresh and wholly original, with songs distinguished by their compelling melodies, sophisticated chord structures and captivating lyrics. Chris' bamd MOJO MONDE, performs regularly in the New York area and features some of the best musicains on the scene.
Three tribute bands will revisit this infamous 1973 music festival - The THE BAND Band (The Band), Reflections (Grateful Dead), and The Peach Project (Allman Brothers) - on the grounds of beautiful Warwick Valley Winery.
THE DISTANT BOYS were invited to join a fabulous roster of performers for the annual LIBRARY JAM in the ANNEX of the Millerton Library. A really nice room with great acoustics. As 2011 chugs down the tracks, Chatham's Summerfest is back, and the Paul Miller Quartet will be kicking things off at 2pm from Lipperas front porch. Later, from 8 to 11 pm, they'll be playing again at the Peint O Gwrw as Jim Nelson makes the night's Last Call. If you're already a believer in SNARF, they are looking forward to seeing you this weekend. If you have never heard the band before, we warmly invite you to dig in and have a double serving of what EVERYBODY has been talking about. Okay, maybe not EVERYBODY, but there are a few of you out there! Well, okay fair enough! I once heard somebody talking about something, and it might have been the music this three piece quartet plays, the mysterious genre of SNARF. What is SNARF? It's too complicated to get into here, and besides, nobody really knows. But everyone likes how it sounds and feels! Come down to Lipperas on Rte. 66, and get some!

The Reddan Brothers are a hard hitting blues/rock trio with the miles to back it. The Reddan Brothers grew up backing legends of blues and rock such as Bill Perry, Popa Chubby and Jimmy Vivino. With their newly released CD “Skeleton Key Sessions” those road miles seem to be put to good use. The group has been seen on such high profile gigs as Levon Helm’s Midnight Ramble, Winchester Blues House Festival and the Blues on the Bridge Festival. The youthful energy of the band mixed with seasoned playing makes them a must see trio.
Lisa Jane Lipkin has a voice as passionate as it is soulful. "I sing about life, "Lisa says, "all of it-up, down or in between-and in music as in life...truth rocks."

It is obvious that the Hudson Valley is fertile with talented musicians, singers and young bands ...and we want to give them an opportunity to show us! With the popularity of such shows as "American Idol" and "America's Got Talent," this is a great opportunity for these blossoming musicians to showcase their talents in front of entertainment industry professionals, and hone their skills on a stage that, for nearly four decades, has hosted hundreds of musicians while they were "up-and-coming," including Suzanne Vega, Shawn Colvin, Leon Redbone and many, many others. These shows will be held every Sunday, beginning July 10, 2011 until the finale & award ceremony on August 21, 2011.

A true vocal phenomenon, Suter has been astounding audiences up and down the east coast for the past few years, backed by her tight, soul-rocking ensemble. Rich Kelly is a singer, bassist and guitarist who plays solo and as a sideman in many ensembles. He's been showcased on local TV shows such as The Working Musician. Rich is a frequent performer at our Singer/Songwriter Showcases. Rich performs both originals and covers with an infectious style that keeps us, and his fans, coming back for more.
Our July 3rd gig at the NuCavu was cancelled due to bad weather conditions. This is the rain date! Don't miss it! Outdoor BBQ, BOOZE, and NJS! Doors open at 12 noon and the bands start at 2:30 pm. We're on at 6:00 pm. Admission is $10 which includes one free draft beer or well drink. The airport will be open. Skydivers, and fly-ins are welcome!

Enjoy a 4-course dinner, each course complimented by Wines of Spain. (Wines presented by Tempranillo Imports). The Spanish-influenced menu includes an appetizer of "Rollitos de Berenjena" (Grilled Eggplant rolled with Goat Cheese) and an entree choice of Catalan Seafood Stew or Spanish-crusted Pork Tenderloin.
