Pianist, Vocalist and Songwriter, Mala Waldron, has shared the stage with Makanda Ken McIntyre, Don Braden, Jeanne Lee, Melvin Sparks, Hilton Ruiz, Bernard Purdie, Warren Smith, and others. She is a featured artist on the CDs: He's My Father (a duo with her father, jazz pianist/composer Mal Waldron) and Lullabye (a tribute to her godmother, Billie Holiday). Her most recent recording, Always There, features guitarist Steve Salerno, bassist Miriam Sullivan, and drummer/percussionist Michael T.A. Thompson. Always There, licensed by Columbia Records in Japan, was voted one of the "Top 20 Jazz CDs of 2006" by JazzUSA.

Girsa is an exciting all star ensemble of young ladies who create powerful and spirited Irish traditional music, song and dance. Comprised of young women from the Pearl River, NY area, Girsa means "young girls" in Gaelic. Steeped in the Irish music and cultural tradition, they have studied their instruments and dance with gifted teachers who pass on the time-honored tunes and songs. Many are the daughters of musicians and Irish immigrants. All have had the distinction of representing the United States at the All Ireland Fleadh Cheoil na hEireann and several girls hold titles in various instruments.
Myles is a 15 yr old, multi-instrumentalist prodigy playing a unique blend of Rockin' Rhythm & Soul. His performances include songs from Ray Charles, James Brown, Wilson Pickett, The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Johnny Cash, Myles' own Originals and many more. He's played at some of the top venues in New York City; BB Kings & the Iridum Jazz Club in Times Square, The Cutting Room, Tera Blues, The Red Lion, South Street Seaport, Madison Square Garden (Knick's Half-Time Show) and many others through-out the Tri State area. In a newspaper article about Myles, Sid Bernstein (who's best known as the man who brought the Beatles to America) was interviewed and said; "Myles is a young prodigy that will captivate and thrill an audience". At every Mojo Myles show there is plenty of Groovin' & Movin'. This is a one of a kind live music experience that's fun for any age at Juniors Lounge...come join the fun!

Tom Dowd is known for his lightning-fast guitar work, clear, soaring vocals and fresh, compelling arrangements that span Rock, Blues, R&B and Pop classics. The band features the inimitable Tom Dowd on vocals and lead guitar (and this man can PLAY guitar!), Jaynie "Blonde Thunder" D'Agostino on percussion, Pete McGregor on drums, Barry "Buzzy" Garriola on bass and Kevin McSweeney rhythm guitar, who provides the unshakable and perfectly-chosen solos that make each song a new classic. Violinist Marlene Rice (Quartette Indigo, Sojourner) will grace the stage as few others can. She has recorded with Aretha Franklin, Beyoncé Knowles, India Arie, Lauryn Hill, and Jessica Simpson. Featured on recordings of Greg Osby, Sekou Sundiata, and Steve Coleman, her repertoire stretches the musical spectrum, including work with Nona Hendryx, Goodie Mob, Society of Soul, Tony Rich, and Organized Noize.

Internationally-acclaimed classical/rock violinist Daisy Jopling will perform with her band on Saturday, March 19, 2011 at 8pm at the Paramount Center for the Performing Arts, Peekskill, NY. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to benefit the Peekskill Education Foundation, Hendrick Hudson Community Education Foundation and the Paramount Center’s Arts In Education Program. In addition, the Hendrick Hudson High School Treble Makers, a choral group made up of young women, will perform in the show. Daisy is also spotlighting some of the Hudson Valley's best young local talent including tap dancer/musician/actor Marcus Carl Franklin, Dance Expression of Westchester, and stage performer/singer Gabriela Sansone. Legendary musician/composer/conductor David Amram will also perform.

Stretching the parameters of acoustic music, Fuzz and Carrie's "CARAVAN OF THIEVES" have been winning immediate praise for their new and unique brand ofgypsy flavored song writing and their high intensity show. This vocal harmonizing, acoustic guitar spanking husband & wife duo have now extended their family to include fiery violinist Ben Dean and double bass madman, Brian Anderson to complete their colorful vision. Their Beatlesque vocal harmonies, driving & swinging rhythms, satirical & dramatic song writing and an overall circus of sound make for a fun and musically satisfying show.
You know them from the Rock Jam, now see them showcase their own unique talents! The Track is a NY-based original rock band who have polished their performance chops in various bands around NYC and Westchester. The Track was formed "to create and perform original music amidst a local climate dominated by cover bands". This modern Rock band flavors its composition with Hammond organ, piano and accordion via Chris Burke... guitar and violin from Andrew Bordeaux... bass and guitar from Rich Kelly... and Tito Wilson's groove and harmonies. Each member is a featured singer. Their songs range from down tempo, mood pieces to pop/rock vehicles for rich harmonies and improvisation. Their influences rang from Aimee Mann and John Mayer to Jane's Addiction and Beck.

Dine with gifted gospel singer, songwriter, and actress, Lady Peachena. In 1988, her smash hit DANCING IN THE SPIRIT, was produced and nominated for a Grammy. One of the first promoters of Gospel brunches, she produced and hosted Gospel at the Gate, a series of successful Gospel brunches held at the landmark Village Gate in that same year.
Lisa was one of the very first Singer/Songwriters to grace our stage. As we approach our 3-year anniversary, we are so happy to have her back. Lisa has a voice that goes from soft to powerful. Her lyrics are filled with love, hope and wisdom and they all come straight from the heart. She has an impressive repertoire of original songs. We love when she sings "Fire and Water" and the Coat song... we've missed them! Lisa will perform originals as well as a few popular covers... she sings "Umbrella" better than Rihanna (in our humble opinion). 
Expect sparks to fly when West Kerry accordionist & singer Seamus Begley joins forces with Sligo fiddler Oisin Mac Diarmada. This duet of button accordion and fiddle might be a new collaboration, but both Seamus & Oisin have a distinguished past within Irish traditional music. Begley is the quintessential Irish musician, an eager storyteller known for his sharp wit and famous for pumping out tune after tune at all night sessions with an energy that is sometimes alarming. Displaying a frisky spontaneity in his accordion-playing, he has toured extensively with performers such as Altan, Steve Cooney and Mary Black. Fiddler Oisin Mac Diarmada, founder of noted group Teada, has been described by The Irish Echo's Earle Hitchner as "one of the most gifted and creative traditional fiddlers playing today." He has appeared as guest soloist with the Southern Georgia Symphony Orchestra in the US and accompanied Irish President Mary McAleese on a State visit to Romania.

Led by saxophonist and Mahopac High School Band Director Rich Williams, the Secret Organ Trio's sound is rooted in the great American tradition of Hammond organ based jazz groups. The group plays soul jazz, a groove-infused style of jazz that incorporates blues, gospel and rhythm & blues. The sound is reminiscent of the great organ trios of the 1960's with some modern and original elements thrown in as well. The result is a fun atmosphere that moves people and makes everyone feel good.

Every Thursday night The Flash Band host an Open Mic and Jam. They start the set with great Funk and groove tunes, then open the mic to fellow musicians and singers. Go solo, come with a band, duo, whatever! It's always a blast, often more than one band. It's entertaining - this is not your typical Open Mic - we get seasoned players as well as emerging artists. Good atmosphere, good food, good drinks, good people. it's a great place to listen, play, dance and hang. 
Steve Chizmadia is a singer/songwriter who has received considerable acclaim over the years. Most recently, Steve attended the 2010 Kerrville Folk Festival where his song, "Wall Street Fat Cat Tax Payer Bailout Blues", was one of eleven finalists in the Music2Life songwriting contest. Steve came home with the Grand Prize and got to perform on the main stage during the prestigious festival. It was his second time in Kerrville, the last as a 2003 finalist. Steve also showcased at the Northeast Regional Folk Alliance in NY, and his CD, "It Is What It Is", was #12 on the folk D.J. charts in 2007. "This Old Town" (one of our favorites), received honorable mention from the Woody Guthrie Folk Festival in '05.
