He even performed at the 1997 Grammy Awards. Joining him tonight is the ever-amazing musician and singer, Drew Bordeaux and percussionist extraordinaire Matt Graff. Beginning at one end of the spectrum with girls, liquor and touring with some of the biggest names in the biz (and all the debauchery that goes with it), Anthony has also been to the other end of the spectrum: the dark, lonely scared and almost suicidal side where many do not dare go. Anthony K has no fears anymore. He has experienced them all. Anthony K now shares his life experiences and feelings through his recordings and live appearances around the world with his fans, gathering new fans along the way. He recently finished a country/rock recording in Nashville, TN, with a "who's who" of music. Anthony will also be a part of a TV show, scheduled to begin filming in summer/fall of 2010. The first six episodes will be filmed in Atlantic City, NJ, with the remainder to be filmed in Las Vegas, NV.

Created by Kat Koppett in association with Freestyle Repertory Theatre in New York, Spontaneous Broadway is a virtouso evening of musical improv.
The audience submits titles of "songs that have never been written". In a fictional "backer's audition", these titles inspire improvised songs in act one. In act two, the audience's favorite song serves as the basis of an entire (45 minute) Broadway musical, complete with costumes and set.
The format received a rave review from The New York Times when it premiered in New York in 1995. You ain’t seen nuttin’ like it, folks!

The songs on this album are mostly self-penned, weaving vivid images, powerful lyrics, musical integrity and "chops" to write home about. The love of the sound that three female voices make together is at the center of this group. The chord rules the day. When the three hit "it," the hair on the back of your neck's gonna stand up. The difficult to pigeonhole sound that emanates from the band roams from old time "mountain" music to contemporary rock and roll influenced originals. Emily Yanek, a 3rd year music student at Capital Area School for the Arts in Harrisburg, is finally finishing the final stretch of her senior year. The singer/songwriter is recording her debut album, "Watching the Highway." She says her album reflects watching life from afar, and touching on scenarios we have all been in at some point. "You sometimes have to go places you don't want to go."
Originally influenced by Broadway music and theater, she will always have a place for Andrew Lloyd Webber. She later found herself drawn to the singer/songwriters of the 1970's. Her favorites being Jackson Browne and Dan Fogelberg.
She plans on making a living out of touring and making albums. After high school, she's going to hit the road doing small tours, while writing songs and selling records.

 Johnny A. has practically done it all ... playing guitar in bands at high school dances ... fronting his own band that shared stages with Aerosmith, the Cars, Cheap Trick, Bad Co., Bob Seger, Yes, Hootie & The Blowfish, etc ... serving as guitar sideman for Bobby Whitlock and J. Geils frontman, Peter Wolf. Then, in 2000, he placed himself front and center with an all new guitar instrumental project and CD, "sometime tuesday morning," in which his guitar is his 'voice.' Creating your own guitar voice and carving out a name for yourself is an almost impossible task for a guitarist these days, but Johnny A.'s music has been embraced by critics & fans alike.

 Led by one of the area's top slide guitarists, The Geoff Hartwell Band opened for Gregg Allman at the Paramount in Peekskill this past November (photo). Geoff has also performed with rock legends such as Sonny Landreth, Tab Benoit and John Hammond and did a tour with guitarist Andy Aledort and drummer Yonrico Scott (from the Derek Trucks Band). In his recently released CD, "Hate to See You Go", Geoff is joined by long-time band members and world-class musicians including slide guitar legend Sonny Landreth.
The Geoff Hartwell Band features Geoff on slide guitar and vocals, Cary Brown on keys, Alex Nolan on guitar, Mike Wise on bass and JJ Clarke on drums. We're excited to welcome the GHB back to 12 Grapes.

On the first Wednesday of every month, 12 Grapes hosts our new KIDS' OPEN MIC NIGHT! We invite all talented kids age 17 and under to participate. Bring your guitar, bass, sax, flute or whatever instrument you play, or just get up and sing. We have a drum kit, keyboard, guitar and bass amps and microphones.
The Arts Upstairs in Phoenicia hosts this monthly music event in concert with their gallery openings. I will be one of the featured performers along with the wonderful Jim Barbaro, and there is also an open mic.
Just what it says. Three hours of great music in the middle of the day for a truly great cause.
