 Haney honed his skills as a jazz pianist, often paired up with some of the greatest minds in jazz improvisation. From the famed Teatro Colon in Buenos Aires to the Bla Jazz in Oslo, Haney has performed worldwide with such featured artists as Andrew Cyrille, Roswell Rudd, John Tchicai, Bud Shank, and Bernard Purdie.
Haney has received grants and commissions for his creative work from the U.S. State Dept, Alberta Film Works, and the Oregon Ballet Theatre. Haney's work “Ota Benga of the Batwa” was in the critics pick for best Jazz Album of 2007 (Coda Magazine). His recent releases "Conspiracy a go go" and "Clandestine" were both selected Top Ten Jazz Albums of 2009 (Cadence Magazine).

Since 1980, Duke has recorded 20 acclaimed solo albums and toured the world both with his own band and also as Jimmie Vaughan's replacement in The Fabulous Thunderbirds. Most recently, Duke played guitar and toured with music legend Tom Waits. In addition to his own recordings, Duke has played on and/or produced albums by Bob Dylan (1997's Grammy-winning Time Out of Mind), Ruth Brown, Johnny Adams, Kim Wilson, Jay McShann, Pinetop Perkins, John Hammond, Jimmy Witherspoon, Rosco Gordon, Billy Boy Arnold, Snooky Pryor and many more. Called "one of the great players" by the legendary B.B. King, Duke's upbeat live performance, accented by a swinging horn section, is a tasteful display of a wide variety of blues styles.

| Scott Krokoff is an independent singer-songwriter from Queens, New York, and a former tax lawyer who took the bold step to pursue his lifelong dream to be a musician. To make manifest his desire to leave his past behind and go for his dream, Scott called his debut CD, A Better Life, which features a diverse array of folk, pop and rock songs. At heart, Scott is a folk-rocker largely influenced by 60's and 70's artists while also drawing from new influences and sounds. His sound combines the pop-rock of John Mayer and the folksiness of James Taylor, creating the kind of crossover appeal that is the hallmark of artists like Shania Twain. It is mellow and folky on one hand, yet rhythmic and energetic on the other with a pop-rock aspect to it. |

 Mr. Charles, 79, is one of the most influential vibraphonists in jazz, having played with the likes of Charlie Parker, Charles Mingus and Miles Davis. - Corey Kilgannon NY Times
As a student at Julliard in the 1940s, Charles haunted New York's jazz clubs, occasionally sitting in with the bands on vibes or piano. His break came when he was asked to sit in on piano with Coleman Hawkin's band for the overdue Thelonious Monk. Soon after, Charles began to appear regularly with the top jazz groups of the day, Artie Shaw, Benny Goodman, Buddy De Franco, playing alongside and writing for such jazz stars as Coltrane, Parker, Max Roach and Davis. Charles left the music scene for a while, spending his time as a sail charter captain, but couldn’t stay away. He recently appeared with Roach, David Amram, and Lee Konitz, and the Teddy Charles Tentet. He has recording numerous original works including "No More Nights," "Blues Become Elektra" and "Word from Bird."

 Jon Pousette-Dart captained the "Pousette-Dart Band" through four albums for Capitol Records between 1976-80, a run that acquainted a generation with his formidable gifts as a singer, songwriter, arranger, guitarist and all-around musical adventurer. During this time, the Pousette-Dart Band became one of the busiest touring groups in the US, working with such acts as the Byrds, Bonnie Raitt, Little Feat, James Taylor, Yes, Peter Frampton, Journey and Billy Joel.
ROB MORSBERGER is a singer-songwriter-arranger-keyboardist whose credits include work with Crash Test Dummies, Marshall Crenshaw, The Roches, Loudon Wainwright III, Dan Zanes, Jules Shear, and many more. Classically-trained, he is also a busy working composer, currently in his fifth season scoring the award-winning PBS series NOVAscienceNOW.

Growing up in New York, Mark’s musical journey has taken him around the world several times, however, he always returns to his roots as a singer songwriter of the world famous Bleecker Street in NYC.
Since his early years as a Bleecker Street journeyman, Mark has never strayed from that recipe of cooking up a stew of honest, straight from the hip rock n’ roll, simmering with the subtle flavors of blues, r&b, funk, folk and soul music.

The Wappingers Central School District Marching Band will be holding a fundraising Guitar Hero Tournament on June 6th at 12pm at Holiday Bowl on Route 9 in Wappingers . All are welcome. Cost of entry is $20 and $10 for a second entry. Prizes will be awarded. Guitar Hero 5 will be played on easy, medium, hard and expert levels only. No controllers are needed. Just show up!

 The Borderline Folk Music Club of Rockland County, NY presents a special Irish house concert featuring the duo of Siusan O'Rourke and Zig Zeitler from Saginaw, Michigan who perform under the name "Stonecross". They will be doing a program of traditional as well as original songs. Siusan is a fantastic vocalist with a sweet and rich voice. Zig is a fabulous master instrumentalist who plays all string instruments but specializes in the Bouzouki and Mandolin.
Together they make great music. This will be their first appearance ever in Rockland County. Admission is $20 per person ($15 for Borderline members) and we ask that you bring a cold pot luck dessert dish to share with 4 other people. Being that we have a limited seating capacity of only 50 people, reservations are a must.  Kairos: A Consort of Singers will present J. S. Bach's Cantata No. 186, "Ärgre dich, O Seele, nicht" (Do not be confounded, o Soul), with chamber orchestra, under the direction of Dr. Edward Lundergan. The concert will also feature the "Sanctus" and "Benedictus" from Josef Rheinberger's "Mass in E Flat for Double Choir" (performed by Kairos) and an instrumental chamber work by the Baroque master. The cantata, choral and instrumental works are accompanied by chamber orchestra and will be performed as part of a choral evensong service. Soloists are Christine Howlett and Carol Lundergan, sopranos; Patricia Marquez and Tricia Lewis Agar, alto; Glenn Knickerbocker, tenor; and Michael Saunders and Peter Sipple, baritone.
