Count Basie called Roomful Of Blues "the hottest band I've ever heard," and Downbeat rates the band "in a class by itself." Probably the largest working blues band in the world, Duke Robillard started the band in 1967 and crafted a trademark sound with lots of horns and a swinging, danceable style of blues and R&B spanning the years back to the '30s. | Every Thursday night, Reservoir Music Center in Shokan presents "B.I.'s Backstage", an ongoing dance/concert series featuring the best musical talent the Hudson Valley has to offer, at the Boiceville Inn, in Boiceville, New York.
