Friday 7:45 pm | Ariel Laske, Josh Tangney, The Brian Dunne Band, Cloud 9, Studebaker Brown | Bodles Opera House 39 Main Street Chester, NY See Map |
![]() Cloud 9 & Studebaker Brown As a singer/songwriter from Chester, N.Y, Josh Tangney has been writing music and poetry since he was 15 years old. Through his words he creates songs of passion, experience, life, love and loss. Tangney’s influences span from acoustic and country music to R&B and hip-hop and everything else in between. Cloud 9 has recently grown into their own. With a style of music that is equally satisfying on both cd or live at shows. Comprised of six musicians whos goal is to stretch genres and create a new vibe of music that lends equally to tight instrumental as well as catchy word play. With shows that drive hard energy anthems combined with mellow mood crowd pleasers the band has constructed a sound that has made the music experience fun again. Cloud 9 is going places, this is not a pompus statement from the boys but rather a true to life claim of there recent influx of shows reaching as far as texas. Though the band is in its infancy as far as its life span all members are seasoned vets of other projects and together deliver a sound that is catchy and new. Still bein easy but now in your neck of the woods. Stuedabakerbrown: possibly the world’s handsomest band, easily one of the friendliest, and definitely one of the quickest rising talents of the NYC music scene. This group of fun-loving guys from Monroe, NY is the reason that many a fan has poured into show after show. Their toe-tapping blend of two parts rock n’ roll reverence, one part “anything else,” is rivaled in quality only by their propensity for having an infectiously good time. Doors open at 6:30 pm Tickets: $8.00 call 845-469-4595 for reservations. Directions To Bodles

An all-ages show, especially nice for those who prefer a non-alcoholic environment. And of course, we give a special thank-you to the Muddy Cup for featuring our single "When Your Baby's Gone" on their myspace page. http://www.myspace.com/muddycupnewpaltz
