Indivisible Hurley/Woodstock are organizing a benefit concert called Democracy Rocks 2. Last year’s concert was a huge success, and this year’s goal is to raise funds for local Indivisible groups’ democracy saving efforts and Ulster Rapid Response’s ICE Watch. Save the date: August 16 from 2-9pm in Woodstock. |

Another amazing element to this event is the silent auction. Concertgoers will have a chance to bid in a silent auction for two, one-week stays at Villa Tiquicia, a newly remodeled, luxurious three-bedroom Airbnb, in Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica – a popular resort district near beaches and coastal jungle adjoining a national park. Value: $6,000 per week. If you’re feeling the deep desire to let loose for a great cause in this bite-size, local, and fun way, make a plan to attend and buy your $45 ticket at the door on August 16th starting at 2pm. Online ticket sales are sold out, but there are plenty of tickets left for purchase at the door. Please reach out to Indivisible Hurley/Woodstock at Indivisiblehurleywoodsock@gmail.com with any questions. |
