 Also In Blue is Scott Test, a music educator and singer/songwriter out of Cortlandt Manor, NY, whose work has been featured in the New York Songwriters Circle and is currently a top 10 finalist in the Songwriters Showcase at this year's Rocky Mountain Folks Festival in Lyons, Colorado. Influenced by James Taylor, Billy Joel, Punch Brothers, and a wide range of musical theater composers, his performances fuse the best of traditional singer/songwriter favorites and modern roots music with a wide selection of original songs. Since its inception, The PKJP has presented a weekly jazz jam session accessible to all musicians and fans of live music. Over the past twelve years, the jam has been honored to host hundreds of musicians from the Tri-state area. This event is free to both participants and listeners. All with a passion for jazz are welcome.
Music performed at this session is a mixture of: jazz standards, jazz repertoire, american songbook, bossa nova, and afro cuban. Sorry, we do not host original material at this session.

This special performance of Robert Schumann’s Piano Quintet in E-flat major will be narrated by Tanya Witek, guiding listeners through the music as a live musical conversation. Pianist Chun-Wei Kang joins BridgeMusik artists to illuminate the passion, structure, and emotional depth of this beloved work, revealing how Schumann weaves dialogue, drama, and lyricism into a unified musical voice.
