The Jazzwomen take the stage at Madison Community Arts Center, expanding their territory into New Jersey with a free concert funded by the Music Performance Trust Fund in celebration of Jazz Appreciation Month. Jenny Hill/tenor sax, Roberta Piket/keys, Mary Ann McSweeney/upright bass, Kim Peralta/drums.
Coyote Island is the musical vision of Maine-based producer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Mike O’Hehir. Assembling a band of brothers, they have blended folk roots, reggae rhythms, and psychedelic indie, the band crafts music that feels like a sonic escape.
The Jazzwomen take the stage with 2 sets of swing, hard bop and latin jazz at Clement's, a popular jazz venue and great place to hang out in downtown Newark.
