Ray Lambiase is a veteran New York singer-songwriter, who has just released his sixth full length CD, Perfume Like a Full Moon. Featuring ten new original songs, the album is his most personal and reflective collection to date. His previous well-received releases include The Road Ahead, Kid Bayonne and The Ballad of Three Finger Brown. He has performed in concert with Steve Forbert, Suzanne Vega, Eric Anderson, Graham Parker and many others. His songwriting has been recognized with previous publishing contracts in Nashville and New York City.

The Poughkeepsie Jazz Project was created in 2012 with the goal of maintaining live jazz culture and community in Poughkeepsie, NY. Since its inception, The PKJP has presented a weekly jazz jam session accessible to all musicians and fans of live music. Over the past twelve years, the jam has been honored to host hundreds of musicians from the Tri-state area. This event is free to both participants and listeners. All with a passion for jazz are welcome.

Music performed at this session is a mixture of: jazz standards, jazz repertoire, american songbook, bossa nova, and afro cuban. Sorry, we do not host original material at this session.

Ras Droppa is a passionate musician and consummate artist filled with energy and talent, poised to take on the world with his music.

Singing and playing the melodica in the streets of Jamaica as a child, Ras Droppa's early influences stemmed from his exposure to artists from his homeland, like Bob Marley, Aston "Family Man" Barrett, Garnet Silk, Sly Dunbar & Robbie Shakespeare and Roland Alphonso and the Skatalites.

Specializing in jazz performance, Matt plays Soprano, Alto, Tenor, and Baritone saxophones.
