The Poughkeepsie Jazz Project was created in 2012 with the goal of maintaining live jazz culture and community in Poughkeepsie, NY. Since its inception, The PKJP has presented a weekly jazz jam session accessible to all musicians and fans of live music. Over the past twelve years, the jam has been honored to host hundreds of musicians from the Tri-state area. This event is free to both participants and listeners. All with a passion for jazz are welcome.
This will be an evening honoring and celebrating Judy Whitfield, a wonderful singer, songwriter who left us all too soon. In addition to gracing us with her beautiful music, she was a central part of the Woodstock music community, supporting women artists especially.

HURLEY MOUNTAIN HIGHWAY (HMHBand) is a Cornwall, NY based quartet that plays the finest '60s and '70s (and beyond) pop-rock "feel-good music" around. HMHBand plays the songs that most of us grew up with...the tunes we drove around listening and singing to in our mom and dad's car.

The Ahlfabet Swing Band, a popular swing jazz group in the New York metropolitan area is led by Albert Ahlf and features The Harrow Sisters with Livia on lead vocals - 3-part harmony in the style of the McGuire sisters.
Best known as the star and executive producer of the hit series, THE CARBONARO EFFECT on truTV, Michael Carbonaro has also made frequent television appearances in shows such as Happily Divorced, 30 Rock, Grey’s Anatomy, and CSI Miami. A performing magician since his youth, Carbonaro went on to study experimental theater at New York University with aspirations of entertaining audiences through a variety of theatrical mediums, including hidden-camera magic, which he later showcased frequently on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.” Following Carbonaro’s frequent late-night appearances, Michael launches his hit comedic series, “The Carbonaro Effect,” which has run for over 100 episodes on truTV and currently airs on Max and in syndication worldwide. In this series, Michael performs inventive tricks on unsuspecting members of the public who are unaware that he is a magician. Folk legend and Westchester native Dar Williams is known for her impactful lyrics and an influence on today’s folk music scene. Rising out of the vibrant mid-90s Boston scene, her successful career as a singer-songwriter spans over 25 years. Williams’s success took off after Joan Baez, a key figure in folk music, claimed Dar Williams to be a “folk artist worthy of attention.” Her style is inspired by the eclectic influences of alt-rockers, Berklee jazz musicians, slam poets, and folk artists like Patty Griffith, Melissa Ferrick, the Throwing Muses, Vance Gilbert, and Jonathan Brooke.

This live concert features Singer/Songwriters Paul K. Maloney and Joel Blumert sharing songs and stories on the porch of the Red Hook Public library. These monthly concerts are free to the public.

Live at Dutchess Sports Bar and BBQ, 1820 New Hackensack Road Poughkeepsie, NY Saturday, June 14th, it’s the band Lady Evil, performing up to two hours of various classic hits from Dio, Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath. Songs from Dio's Holy Diver, Last in Line and Sacred Heart albums as well as Ozzy's Blizzard of Ozz, Diary of a Madman and Bark at the Moon will be performed at this event. Show starts at 8 PM, you must be 21 and older to drink. Don’t miss Lady Evil live at Dutchess Sports Bar & BBQ Saturday January 25th.
