Hootenanny Cafe Mini Concerts
Online and on the radio, NY   See Map
Celtic-tinged folk rock collective River Drivers is a band whose unique passion-infused style of music draws from Celtic, Americana and Appalachian influences and features very powerful and distinctive vocals. At the core of their repertoire are songs gleaned from the oral histories of family and folks they’ve met along the way.
Anchored by Mindy Murray and Kevin McCloskey with accompaniment by Marian Moran and Meagan Ratini, their high energy music explores pervasive themes of hard-working people and social justice. Their Did Ya Vote was recognized as an International Women’s Freedom Song in 2020 and their Blair Mountain was included in the United Mineworkers of America annual report.

River Drivers’ music has received rave reviews from the likes of No Depression, fRoots, and Irish Music Magazine and has been heard on hundreds of stations globally. They have played the Philadelphia Folk Festival, Musikfest, and the Cup of Tae Festival in Ireland.
