Joe Johnson is a New York based composer and musician. Born and raised in Independence, Missouri, Joe began learning piano at the age of three, and by age 12 he was playing bass and guitar in Kansas City's Blues bars. Joe has toured as a bassist with Country legend Ray Price, and performed with him at the Grand Ol' Opry. Touring instilled in Joe a love of travel, so in 2010 he joined Ringling Bros. Circus, lived on the train, played in the band five nights a week, and enjoyed the unique smell of elephants and cotton candy. Since 2011, Joe has been creating music and sound design for advertising, film, TV and radio. | ||

Mala's music career has taken her all over the world, performing for international tours and festivals, as well in some of NYC's most prestigious stages, including the Iridium Jazz Club, the Blue Note, the Jazz Standard, the 55 Bar, and Brooklyn's BAM Café. Most recently she performed in Washington DC at the Kennedy Center. Mala was a featured performer on the Chapman Stage at the first annual Coltrane Day Festival, was featured in the book, Giving Birth to Sound: Women in Creative Music (Renate da Rin and & William Parker editors) and can be seen in the documentary film, 'The Girls in the Band," directed by Judy Chaikin. Mala’s recordings as a featured artist include: "Lullabye," (solo debut and tribute to her godmother, Billie Holiday,) "He's My Father." (duo project with her father, pianist/composer - Mal Waldron) and "Always There," named one of JazzUSA's TOP 10 CDs of 2006. | Very few Canadian musicians have had as fascinatingly diverse a career as Ken Tizzard. In over two decades as a professional musician, he has gone from plying his trade as the charismatic bassist in top Canadian rock bands The Watchmen and Thornley (he is featured on six gold and platinum records received numerous Juno nominations and MuchMusic Awards, and licensed songs to such TV shows as CSI and Fashion Television) to then emerging as an eloquent roots-based singer/songwriter and guitarist with a prolific solo career. Wearing his rock 'n roll hat, Ken has toured internationally, appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and played such major venues as The Air Canada Centre. When he puts on his cowboy hat, Tizzard can be spotted performing his original material, solo or with a band, for a loyal and growing audience in pubs, clubs and concert halls across Canada. | ||

Our witty humor, make-you-fall-out-of-your-chair-laughing skits, all-out insane personalities and groundbreaking dance moves set us apart on campus.From performing pop to alternative rock to blues to hip hop, we spread our electric sound around campus and locally throughout Binghamton. We tour the Northeast annually during our winter tour leading student workshops and showing people what acapella is all about.
