Melissa Manning, director, a Juilliard trained concert pianist is celebrating her 10th year as director of the MMC chorus. She is currently the Liturgical Musician at the Immaculate Conception RC church in Norwood, NJ as well as the piano accompanist for the Main Street Singers and Spring Valley Eurythmy. Melissa has been teaching piano since 1980 and one of her celebrity students was the late Aretha Franklin, the "Queen of Soul".
Martin Fisher, baritone recently performed “Beethoven's Ninth Symphony” and “Carmen." He can be heard on the Grammy Award album Barrelhouse to Broadway. Other highlights include performances at Kennedy and Lincoln Centers and Carnegie Hall.
MMC chorus will be performing a variety of musical pieces including ‘Peace Like A River’, ‘The Chanukah Song’, ‘One Candle Lights The Way’, and several pieces from Joseph Martin’s ‘Season of Praise’ including ‘Waiting For A King’, ‘Celebrate The Promise’, and ‘A Christmas Proclamation’.
