Her originals “Good Heart” and “If We Come Too Late” recently won the Bernard Ebb Songwriting Award of $10,000. Lloyd also was named “Most Wanted Artist” in 2108 at the Falcon Ridge Folk Festival, an accolade she won with her band ilyAIMY in 2012 as well.
Heather will be joined by her long time musical collaborator and ilyAIMY band founder Rob Hinkal for this performance.

Rockland Center for the Arts is proud to present a very special evening with Rockland’s own Sam Waymon & Jeff Doctorow in concert.
Dr. Samuel L. Waymon is an award-winning composer, musician, singer, pianist, and arranger/producer. In 2018 he cut his first new album in 7 years. Waymon has a long list of musical accomplishments including composing music for Broadway and off-Broadway for the late Joe Papp as well as sharing the concert stage with Miles Davis, Odetta, Quincy Jones, Miriam Makeba and more. He was the manager, confidante, organist and best friend to his sister, Nina Simone. They played for the King of Morocco and the President of France, Francois Mitterrand. His musical compositions for movies are many.
Jeff Doctorow is a musician, guitar collector and DVD Executive Producer. He has played in Neon Park and The Alex Bender Band among others. He currently performs with Tequila Soul and The Old No. 7 Band.

As America’s baby boomers moved into their mid teens and real rock ‘n roll was dwindling supply, Gary came roaring out of Norfolk, Virginia in 1960 with the relentless pounder “New Orleans”. Attention was brought to the record by having promotional copies sent to radio stations in sleeves inscribed “Buy U.S. Bonds”- hence at age 19, Gary Anderson became Gary U.S. Bonds. | In 2005 Barry Adelman heard the voice of God. It whispered "Music for Humanity". He looked around, no one was there, but he couldn't deny the whisper. It was like the whisper in the movie Field of Dreams; Barry knew he had to take action.
He looked up Music for Humanity on the internet and discovered the name reserved, but no website. Barry contacted the person, Kurt Irmiter, who had reserved the name, and together they decided to create a not-for-profit, Music for Humanity. In 2007 Music for Humanity was officially given a 501c-3 status by the IRS, which means donations to MFH are tax-deductible.

New York-based composer Benji Kaplan and Brazilian singer and songwriter Rita Figueiredo pick up that vibrating, multicolored thread and weave it into fantastical new portraits of Brazil and New York on Benji & Rita (release: May 10, 2019), their album-length debut as a duo.
Cinematic and refined, Benji & Rita channels the scents and sounds, the flora and fauna of the couple’s homelands, drawing on everything from samba and baião, to waltzes and pop catchiness, much as Brazilian popular composers have over the last five decades.

 For over 15 years No Quarter (a tribute to the Led Zeppelin legacy) has been pounding the Hammer of the Gods to Led Zeppelin fans both nationally and internationally. This authentic live concert reproduction goes far beyond any group of musicians covering the same tunes you’ve heard on the radio for over 4 decades. Any musician can learn a song note for note. However, to do a full tribute with all of the subtle nuances and authentic look and sound and mannerisms is comparable to an actor preparing for a character in a film. In this case the characters are members of the legendary British supergroup. No Quarter captures the characters of John Bonham, John Paul Jones, Jimmy Page and Robert Plant and brings each individual member to the stage in their absolute prime. In their nearly 50-year history, NRBQ's records have been released by many record companies. Their song "Get That Gasoline Blues", reached No. 70 in 1974 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Over the years, the group played sets while wearing pajamas, hired professional wrestler "Captain" Lou Albano as its manager (for whom they penned a song in tribute), and exploded Cabbage Patch Dolls on stage.
NRBQ's music is a blend of styles from rockabilly to Beatles-influenced pop to Thelonious Monk-inspired jazz. They have attracted fans such as Bob Dylan, Paul McCartney, Elvis Costello, Keith Richards, The Replacements, and Penn & Teller. NRBQ songs have been performed by Bonnie Raitt, Los Lobos, Dave Edmunds, and many others.
