Well-acclaimed family/community event held annually on the second Saturday of August. Blueberry Pancake Breakfast 7:30 a.m. ~ 11 a.m. Hosted by Pioneer Engine Co.#1 Fire Company, annual fundraiser at Norbury Hall, Center Street. There is a donation fee for the breakfast. The festival from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. will include exhibits and a street fair open to the public. Free access to the public. There will be exhibits heralding our Shawangunk Mountains and cultural heritage, live music, children’s area and activities, raffles, a variety of great foods, delicious blueberry goodies of all kinds including a home-made blueberry pie baking contest and175-plus vendors including crafts, merchandise, health and other non-profit organizations. Something for everyone - and it’s not all blueberry.
ROOTS UP! is what we (Dog Nose Productions) hope to be the first in a continuing yearly event of an Original Music Festival at the High Falls Cafe. Performers are Marji Zintz, Princes of Serendip, Trio Mio, Dog Knows! and The Cob's Cabin Band. It's an outdoor Clambake/BBQ(rain or shine). You can pre-order lobster platters (by August 6) by calling the High Falls Cafe: 845-687-2699. Your generous donations towards the musicians are greatly appreciated! Marty Koppel, renowned Vernon, NJ singer / songwriter will be joining to play a wonderful early evening of acoustic selections from many genres; The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Match-Box 20, CSN&Y, Darius Rucker, The Eagles & more. For the 17th year in a row, the Goshen Public Library will be hosting The Big Band Sound jazz orchestra to bring you a concert of the best of the big bands from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. This concert will be held on the beautiful and shaded lawn of the Library. Admission is Free, thanks to the sponsor, Norton & Christensen! In addition to the concert, there will be a complimentary Ice Cream Social! It'll be hosted by the Friends Of The Goshen Public Library & Historical Society. Goshen's own "What's The Scoop" shop is generously donating their ice cream and scooping services. An evening celebrating the music of maestro Ravi Shankar, performed by his senior disciple, Barun Kumar Pal playing the Hamsavina, Samir Chatterjee, who accompanied Ravi ji on tabla for many years, and Steve Gorn, whose Bansuri flute has been a leading voice of Indian music in the west. Our program will feature ragas composed by Ravi Shankar, and brief remembrances by our guest performers.
Grammy award winning artist Shunzo Ohno is a "brilliant trumpet stylist" whose playing and original compositions have touched millions. A versatile musician who has played, recorded and toured with such renowned leaders as Gil Evans, Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter, Art Blakey, and many others. Mr. Ohno has 16 recordings under his own name as a leader and has appeared on over thirty more as a sideman. 
Join The Canal Street String Band, NY State Presenters Network “performing artists of the highest professional caliber,” to explore the deep well of American music that inspired The Grateful Dead, and discover some fascinating stories behind the music. With fiddle, banjo, dobro, jaw harp, string bass, guitar, mandolin, three voices, and a pair of cow bones, this program delights the uninitiated right alongside the Deadheads in the crowd.

IABC has double-time crowd favorites back by popular demand! We're happy to welcome back Nyack musician, Nev Cadesca (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EhmP_mYIkuY), for your Sunday afternoon vibes and @froehlichsausage for your Sunday afternoon eats. Froelich's concocted a special tasting menu paired with the beers we have on tap and will be grilling up sausages all day. They’ve got Andouille and Chorizo among others, plus you can BACON WRAP any sausage sandwich! 
A concert reading of a new opera by Victor Caruso (Music) and Paul Cooper (libretto). Cooper describes the plot as "a haunted love story," while Caruso describes the music as "Gian Carlo Menotti meets Paul McCartney." 
Martha Scanlan was the main songwriter for the Old Tyme Music Band The Reeltime Travelers, featured on the film Cold Mountain soundtrack. Her1st solo album was recorded at Levon Helm's Barn studio, and Levon and Amy Helm played on it.
Scanlan appeared on NPR’s World Café Next, Mountain Stage, and Merlefest, where she won the 2002 Chris Austin songwriting competition. Her musical partner, Jon Neufeld, is a string music wizard
New York-based HARLEM QUARTET, currently serving a three-year residency at London’s Royal College of Music, has been praised for its “panache” by The New York Times and hailed in the Cincinnati Enquirer for “bringing a new attitude to classical music, one that is fresh, bracing and intelligent.” It has also won plaudits from such veteran musicians as GRAMMY-winning woodwind virtuoso Ted Nash of the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, who declared in a May 2018 Playbill article, “Harlem Quartet is one of the greatest string quartets I have ever heard. They can play anything.” Since its public debut at Carnegie Hall in 2006, the ensemble has thrilled audiences and students in 47 states as well as in the U.K., France, Belgium, Brazil, Panama, Canada, Venezuela, Japan, and South Africa.
Ben Schmitz hails from Yorktown Heights and is currently a sophomore at SUNY Geneseo. He plays regularly in the Rochester area and now wants to share his music closer to home, while on summer break. His music consists of covers (old and new songs of various genres) and a few of his own originals that are also on SoundCloud.
Tangent returns to the Florida Family Funfest bringing it's high energy rock and roll show. Food, drink, carnival rides, vendors and music at this all day, free, street festival. The Woodstock Celtic Session is a weekly gathering of Traditional musicians who come together to enjoy and play Irish music and more in a pub setting. All are welcome to play or listen in an acoustic unplugged pub setting. We’ve been playing together every Monday night for since 2002!
