Folk/Traditional, Americana, and Gospel
Colony Woodstock
22 Rock City Road
Woodstock, NY   See Map
Bobtown and Low Lily co-headline a night of three-to-five-part harmonies, groove-driven folk music and moody Americana. Showtime is at 8 PM, with doors opening at 7:00.

Hailing from NYC, Bobtown's distinctive brand of original folk/Americana incorporates elements of pop, gospel and country, but the quintet is most widely known for their unique vocal arrangements and harmonies. They have been featured on NPR's "All Songs Considered" and are folk festival regulars. As Americana UK sums them up: "If you're looking for acoustic, Gothic-folk-Americana kissed with gorgeous harmonies then look no further.”

Low Lily’s cohesive sound comes naturally for musicians whose lives have been entwined on the road and onstage for almost two decades. Setting down roots in Vermont, the band has crafted a signature sound which they have shared with enthusiastic audiences throughout North America and the UK, combining excellently matched vocals, world-class playing, and raised-off-grid Americana.

She recorded her debut album in 2013 in the studio of producer Aaron L. Hurwitz (Professor Louie-The Band). Featured on that recording is the legendary group Professor Louie & The Crowmatix with guitarist John Platania (Van Morrison). The album, released on Woodstock Records, solidified her expressive singing and distinctive style.

At Atomic Sound Studios in Brooklyn, she recorded her EP "Out From Under" (2015), co-produced with her musical partner Ryan Shapiro. The follow up EP "Airing of Grievances" (2016) was released. RoseAnn returned to the Hudson Valley to record her last EP in the series “Take You With Me” (2018), in the barn where she played as a child, now converted into Building Records.

Music Director, Scott Petito assembles an AllStar line-up to interpret the iconic work of Traffic, with renditions of familiar songs and deep catalog cuts!

The original Traffic had two phases. The first , a winsomely psychedelic pop band that blending blues, folk, rock, and R&B, fronted by Steve Winwood - best-known for his lead vocals with the Spencer Davis Group - and Dave Mason.

After Mason, the band became Winwood's vehicle for longer, moodier excursions that leaning into to jazz and soul. Traffic was exceedingly popular in both incarnations.

In 1970, while Winwood was recording his first solo album, "Mad Shadows", Capaldi and Wood sat in on some sessions. That LP became Traffic's fifth and most commercially successful album, "John Barleycorn Must Die", a gold album and a staple of "progressive" FM radio. This was followed by another gold album, "The Low Spark of High-Heeled Boys" in 1971.

New Paltz, NY   See Map
Dog on Fleas plays honest, loose and ingenious music for kids and their adult counterparts.

If you have been to a Dog on Fleas show, you probably came up after the show and said “hi” because those Fleas look so friendly and nice. You probably danced with abandon, sang along, laughed and maybe cried (usually not the band’s fault), and you probably marveled at this quintet’s musicality. You heard the Fleas play their hits in fresh and exciting ways, and perhaps an unrehearsed cover song. Surprises are the norm for the Fleas. The band is like a tornado in performance, sucking up fans and whirling them around in a frenzy of fun.

Dog on Fleas have released 7 critically acclaimed CDs!
