"...when an album like this comes along, I want to shout it to the world ... I want to get stuck in traffic, roll down the windows and crank it up. I want to throw listening parties and pay taverns I frequent to play it....because when the music overwhelms, that is always what I want to do and this is overwhelming. I love this album. I love it." – NoDepression

“Heavy Lifting” Lost Leaders' new EP, is a kaleidoscope of sound. The band holed up and worked on six new songs with a great crew of new players. Byron brought in some beautiful finger picked guitar songs with great harmonies and Peter brought in more cynical yet optimistic rockers. Some original contributors returned - Jared Samuel (G.O.A.S.T.T) contributed some synth weirdness, and Clark Gayton (E. Street Band horn section) gave the recording an awesome trombone choir.

Lost Leaders' partnership grew from a collaboration that has lasted through years of weirdness and magic.

By the time Craig Bickhardt was 25 years old he'd signed a record contract with Bob Dylan's manager Albert Grossman; inked an artist development deal with legendary talent impresario and head of Atlantic Records Ahmet Ertegun; had one of his songs recorded by Art Garfunkel; shared the concert stage with Bruce Springsteen, Stephen Stills and Harry Chapin; lost nearly everything he owned in a California house fire; and had his only guitar stolen by a junkie in NYC. Three decades later, despite steady touring and achieving respectable success scoring music for the Academy Award winning film Tender Mercies and writing songs that have been covered by Johnny Cash, Ray Charles, B. B. King, Kris Kristofferson, Alison Krauss, Kathy Mattea and many others, Bickhardt remains a relatively undiscovered artist. His new CD, Home For The Harvest, and is being played on Folk and Americana stations worldwide.

Texas swing, jazz, rockabilly, and more! Dancing encouraged!

"Equally at home picking a vintage Dobro, an old National resonator guitar, or laying down a fat horn voicing on a tripleneck 8-string steel, Cashdollar is a master of bluegrass, gut-bucket blues, honky-tonk, swampy R&B, and Western Swing." - Frets Magazine

Dobro and steel guitarist Cindy Cashdollar's career has taken twists and turns that have led her to work with leading artists in various genres; including Ryan Adams, Bob Dylan, Van Morrison, Dave Alvin, Rod Stewart, Asleep At The Wheel, Marcia Ball, Jorma Kaukonen, Leon Redbone, BeauSoleil, Daniel Lanois, Redd Volkaert, & Peter Rowan.

Cindy's unerring ability to perfectly complement a song or step out with a tasteful, imaginative, and exciting solo - and do it in so many musical genres - has made her one of the most in-demand musicians on the American roots music scene.

“Olli Soikkeli, a riveting Finnish guitarist who combines astonishing dexterity and speed with pure soul in a way that places him among the worthiest current day successors to the legacy of the great Django.” -The Wall Street Journal

Virtuoso guitarists Olli Soikkeli and Cesar Garabini deliver a spectacular duet performance! Cesar, a Brazilian choro player, and Oili, a gypsy jazz guitarist with touch of bluegrass fingerpicking, form an unlikely duo, creating an experience as hypnotic as it is unique.

Italian-Brazilian seven-string guitarist, Cesar Garabini, specializes in Choro, the predecessor to Brazilian music styles Samba and Bossa Nova. Choro began in the 1890s as a mix of European classical and folk with African rhythms.

Born in Finland and based in NYC, Soikkeli was introduced to the music of great Django Reinhardt and Gypsy Jazz, which has been his primary focus since.
