"…unwaveringly cohesive…bone-deep gorgeousness…complex, compelling and beautiful, sounds of the highest quality and inspiration laid down by a premier jazz quartet.” – Dan McClenaghan, All About Jazz

Feathery presents original compositions, written by Bloch and Lossing. Emphasis is put on musical communication, spontaneous compositional decisions, where each member of the group is a soloist and an accompanist at the same time.

The music itself draws on a wealth of inspirations – there are aspects of 20th and 21st-century classical music, Eastern European and Middle Eastern traditions, and of course modern jazz and improvised music. All of these have been absorbed and emerge organically from the group’s interactions with one another.

Slam Allen perfected his already refined entertainer persona in James Cotton's Blues Band, with which he toured for nine years, first as rhythm guitarist, then as lead guitarist and eventually bandleader.

Slam has an uncanny ability to hook an audience, a good-time vibe, ever smiling, upbeat and energetic.

A seasoned and internationally recognized touring veteran, Slam Allen is more than a singer, songwriter, and guitar player. He has connected with his audiences like the entertainers of a bygone era - Otis Redding, B.B., Albert, and Freddie King, with some Wilson Picket, James Brown, Sly Stone and a little George Benson and Jimi Hendrix thrown in to the experience. Slam is forging his legacy in the world of blues and soul.

With seven original albums under his belt, he brings back what the music world needs - the love and uplifting honesty that makes for a powerful and entertaining experience.

They’re back! Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes first achieved prominence in the mid-1970s, emerging from the same New Jersey Shore music scene as his now legendary contemporary and friend Bruce Springsteen. Southside’s first three albums, I Don’t Want To Go Home, This Time It’s for Real, and Hearts of Stone, were produced by band co-founder Steven Van Zandt (E Street Band, The Sopranos), and largely featured songs written by Van Zandt and/or Springsteen. The Van Zandt-written “I Don’t Want To Go Home” became Southside’s signature song, an evocative mixture of horn-based melodic riffs and sentimental lyrics. In 1982 Rolling Stone Magazine voted Hearts of Stone among the 100 albums of the 1970s and 1980s.
