Born into and raised by a sharecropping family in rural Georgia, vocalist and multi- instrumentalist Bill Sims Jr. is an internationally respected master of the blues. He began playing piano at age four and by fourteen he was playing professionally in a rhythm and blues group. 
On September 7, 2008, Judith Tulloch & Steve Franchino were married on stage at the Towne Crier in Pawling, NY. The ceremony took place right before their concert performance. Since then, they have moved to Beacon, NY and so has the Towne Crier. To celebrate, The Judith Tulloch Band will host their 10-year wedding anniversary concert at the Towne Crier on Friday, September 7, 2018. There will be special guest performers to join in the festivities. We would love to see you there!!!

As a conclusion to the Town of Wappinger Recreation's Community Day celebration, the Southern Dutchess Concert Band will be giving an outdoor concert this evening at Schlathaus Park. For the final 30 minutes of this concert, the band will be accompanying the annual fireworks! The park is located at the intersection of County Route 93/Myers Corners Road and County Route 94/All Angels Road (Click on the map above). Admission is Free and there is bleacher seating, but bring your lawn chairs to enjoy the concert in comfort. The 50-piece Southern Dutchess Concert Band will be performing a selection of show tunes, popular standards, marches, light classical and wind ensemble music. Selections will include: "Leroy Anderson's "Trumpeter's Lullaby", highlights from Stravinsky's "The Firebird", music from the "Star Wars" films and "1812 Overture". Saxophonist Bradford Hayes has been a force on the jazz scene in the northeastern U.S. for many years. He has performed at Birdland, Tavern of the Green, and the Beacon Theater, among other places and has performed with Gerald Alston, Yusef Lateef, Ted Curson, Michael Cochrane, Joe Lee Wilson, Jimmy Heath, Al Grey, Cecil Payne, Rufus Reid, Ray Bryant, Ben Riley, Dr. Lonnie Smith, Cecil Brooks III, Jerry Butler, and the Dells, among others.
Founding members Rich Fracassi, Jim Verdi, Tommy Rausch, Joe Marian , Jason Miller and other regular guests - Gennaro Esposito/Guitar, Neil (Nail) Alexander/Keys, Pito Castillo/Percussion, Joey Ray/Lead Vocals, are specialists when laying down the Funk.
Joanna Teters is carving a place for herself in the hearts and minds of today’s music lovers with original, forward-thinking, new school soul music. Increasingly recognized for her ability to switch effortlessly from lush, deeply sultry tones to rugged reggae and blues, Teters’ serves her audiences with playful and energetic yet poised performances of both original compositions and covers.
Vito Petroccitto is magic. And we’re not just talking about the way he deftly casts alternating spells on his audiences, moving them either to awe, tears, full-out belly laughs, or all three at once. Armed only with his gritty, dirty, swampy telecaster guitar, his crazy-good vocal chords, and more than a touch of genius, Vito has somehow figured out how to do the work of ten men. If he’s not performing all over the Hudson Valley with “Four Guys in Disguise” (the band he co-founded in 1989, voted “Best of the Hudson Valley” for years running), he’s out gigging with his newest brainchild, “Left by the Wayside:” a swampy blues and funk band. Think Little Feat meets John Fogerty meets the Grateful Dead.

Award-winning actor and director Frank Ferrantes recreates his PBS, New York and London acclaimed portrayal of legendary comedian Groucho Marx in his fast paced 90 minutes of hilarity. The two-act comedy consists of the best Groucho one-liners, anecdotes and songs including “Hooray for Captain Spalding,” and “Lydia, the Tattooed Lady.” The audience literally becomes part of the show as Ferrante ad-libs his way throughout the performance in grand Groucho style. Accompanied by his onstage pianist, Ferrante portrays the young Groucho of stage and film reacquaints us with the likes of brothers Harpo, Chico, Zeppo and Gummo, Charlie Chaplin, W.C. Fields, Marx foils Margaret Dumont and MGM”s Louis B. Mayer. A show perfect for all ages! 
"Better Than Anything: Live" was a performance recorded in 1991 at Kimball’s East in Oakland. It is a programme, beautiful in every way, well recorded and featuring the finest musicians you could ask for. On bass there is Harvie S and on piano another great, Alan Broadbent. In fact they also dance together, waxing eloquent across the ocean of music that Jordan creates on the fly.

Often referred to as “The Godfather of British Blues,” John Mayall has an impressive musical career that spans over 50 years. The English blues singer, pianist, harmonica player, guitarist, and songwriter founded the band, John Mayall & the Bluesbreakers in the 1960’s—a band whose members included many celebrated blues and blues rock guitarists, such as: Eric Clapton, Peter Green, Jack Bruce, Mick Taylor, Walter Trout, Coco Montoya and Buddy Whittington.
