Legendary MMW drummer, Billy Martin will conduct his musical game piece for a guitar orchestra along the waterfall at The Falcon Outdoor Stage!

This is a suite of percussion compositions as a collaborative game, played not to win or lose, but by a team whose primary challenge is collective improvisation. It is the formation of a self-governing ensemble acting as one ‘organism’ that produces unique arrangements each performance.

The Book! https://www.hellomerch.com/products/stridulations-for-the-good-luck-feast-book

Containing 13 mini scores in a deluxe folder pack, this publication is designed for percussion ensembles, schools, workshops, including music therapy. Martin is currently associate director and has recently been elected President (for 2018) of the Creative Music Studio, anon-profit organization in New York founded by Karl Berger, Ornette Coleman and Don Cherry.

His signature songs, including "When Two Worlds Collide" (from Ruckus and Romance) and "Fox In The Henhouse" (from Finding You), continue to get ample airplay worldwide. These songs, and other from his catalogue, are rooted in his conviction that music and social conscience come from the same wellspring of humanity, and derive meaning and power from their ability to unite and inspire...

Inspired by the music of Cuba and Puerto Rico, Cuboricua rocks the rhythms of the Caribbean; Salsa, Son, Rumba, Bomba, Plena, as well as Merengue.

These veteran musicians, to their credit, have performed and recorded with world renowned artists such as Celia Cruz, Pete "El Conde" Rodriquez, Eddie Palmieri, Monguito "el unico", Los Kimbos, and the New Swing Sextet to name a few.

This conjunto creates a traditional/modern energetic sound by placing the interlocking rhythmic figures of percussion and Cuban Tres under a smoothly swinging melody to create a ".... new sound Cuboricua.”

Great food, fine wine, the best in live music.
