 Veteran musicians Joe Gil (trombone), Neil Alexander (organ and keyboards) and Nadav Snir-Zelniker (drums) have put together a new group called the "Thunderhead Organ Trio". The group is taking the concept of the organ trio in a new and different direction, drawing on many different influences and styles.
The group explores the grittier, rockier side of the genre referencing groups like the original Tony Williams Lifetime and mines the jazz standard repertoire for obscure gems and deep cuts.
The group will be playing original tunes, jazz standards, lost classics and rare gems.

 RoseAnn Fino grew up in the Hudson Valley that always had Dylan or Springsteen blaring. Her parents, avid music fans, began taking her to nightclubs and concert halls as soon as she could walk. When she turned five her father put a guitar in her hands.
Fino moved to NYC where she studied writing and music performance at Hunter College. She went into the studio with producer Aaron L. Hurwitz (Professor Louie-The Band) to record her debut album in 2013. Featured on the recording is the legendary group Professor Louie & The Crowmatix with guitarist John Platania (Van Morrison).
In 2015, she went back into the studio, this time Atomic Sound Studios in Brooklyn, with a bunch of her friends and recorded her EP "Out From Under" in one day, with a follow up EP "Airing of Grievances" released in the spring of 2016. In 2018, she returned to the Hudson Valley to record her last EP in the series “Take You With Me”.

For this sixth annual "All-American" Concert, the Southern Dutchess Concert Band will be performing patriotic tunes, including "American Patrol", Broadway showstoppers, including a medley from Leonard Bernstein's "West Side Story", Hollywood favorites, including the theme to "Mission Impossible", selections by famous American composers, including Irving Berlin's "God Bless America", popular standards, including a medley of Duke Ellington's classics, and, of course, rousing marches, including John Philip Sousa's "The Stars And Stripes Forever"! Spotlight Theatre Productions, a 501c3 not-for-profit, all-volunteer organization based in Putnam Valley that has been presenting Broadway musicals since 1996 and producing over 39 musical productions, is presenting "Forever Broadway" as a benefit performance. All proceeds will go to the Tompkins Corner Cultural Center to promote their mission of preserving the historic building for the community, and to present concerts, plays, festivals and other events including musicals. Cornwall-on-Hudson Bandstand Summer Concert Series in the beautiful Village of Cornwall-on-Hudson! Grab your blanket, cooler, friends, and family and come on down! Relax and enjoy a beautiful sunset and a wonderful night of music among friends! (In case of a rain postponement...the concert will be re-scheduled to the very next day...Wed @ 6:30 pm).
The Devon Allman Project is a six piece band featuring two percussionists, John Lum & R. Scott Bryan (Sheryl Crow), bassist Justin Corgan, guitarist Jackson Stokes and a Hammond B3 player, Nicholas David. The club/theater shows feature a 30 minute opening set with Duane Betts using his go to guitar player, John Satchela Jr., and Devon’s rhythm section. After a 15 minute break the Devon Allman Project plays a one hour set which will includes songs from Honeytribe, Royal Southern Brotherhood, The Devon Allman Band and a few covers. The night culminates with a 30 minute plus encore featuring all eight musicians playing Allman Brothers tunes and other classics. Festival dates are a straight 90 minute set.
I will be the featured artist at this monthly gathering of blues lovers and players at the historic (and newly refurbished) Caffe Lena. Open Mic followed by jam. All ages and playing levels are welcome. $5 admission.
