Our once-monthly Open Mics are mainly Acoustic, but most styles of music are welcome. All talented artists are invited to take the stage and enjoy one of the most talked about music venues in Westchester. 
Live music begins at 6 p.m., provided this year by Hudson Valley-based entertainers Mark Rust, Hudson Valley Bluegrass Express and Soul City Groove. Rust offers a mix of traditional American roots music and original songs. He plays guitar, banjo, fiddle and dulcimer. Hudson Valley Bluegrass Express is a trio of seasoned musicians who play traditional and contemporary bluegrass music, or “newgrass,” as it’s been called. The line-up features Doctor Romo on mandolin and fiddle; Mike Aiese on stand-up bass; Matt Lamborn on guitar. Soul City Groove delivers solid soul standards and Motown classics with a four-piece rhythm section and three lead vocalists.
Keith Newman performs acoustic songs by the Beatles, Cat Stevens, Bob Dylan, Grateful Dead, Paul Simon, The Eagles, CSN&Y, Pink Floyd and more. 
2x Grammy Winner Wayne Cobham brings The Cobham Coalition and The Total Eclipse Band for an evening of Motown to smooth Jazz!
Percussionist Tony Pastrana, the ultimate bandleader, brings us a host of smooth, high energy Latin grooves as Orchestra Pastrana plays Joey Pastrana's greatest hits. 
Improviser, composer, musician grew up in Woodstock and has emerged as a dynamic, inventive voice in the musical, theatrical and dance worlds.
Admission is free for young people under 16. Full time students pay $5, adults pay $10 at the door. No advance ticket sales

A day of swamp with Vito Petroccitto's LITTLE ROCK! A new band hailing from the Hudson Valley region of New York. The band includes Vito Petroccitto Jr (Four Guys in Disguise) on guitar, Jeff Schechter (Big Smoothies) on keys, Dan Hickey on drums, and Mark Dann on bass. Playing a mix of Bluesy, Swampy Americana, Rootsy Music, original and obscure covers. These guys with all the years of experience combined, can deliver the goods musically, and have a lot of fun while they’re doin it!
Stereo Mike's (Acoustic Groovy Tangent) returns to this fantastic Brewery in our hometown of Florida. Come on down to this purveyor of adult beverages and enjoy a continuation of your July 4th celebration. This really cool, new venue is not to be missed. Their tasting room has 8 taps and this is a bring your own food destination. Local restaurants even deliver! Food truck on site. Cool games to play in the brew room. It's also a BYOF. As part of the summer concert series sponsored by the Millbrook Arts Group, The Big Band Sound 20-piece jazz orchestra will be performing for their 12th year at the Millbrook Community Bandshell this post-Fourth of July weekend evening starting at 6 p.m. Bring your picnicking paraphernalia to spread out on the beautiful lawn and enjoy our special celebration of America's original music: Jazz! If it rains, this concert may be cancelled. Directions: Taconic Parkway to Route 44 east, then stay straight on Route 82 and turn left at the light onto North Ave. Follow the road as it turns right and becomes Franklin Ave. After 4 blocks, the bandshell is on is on the left, just past the Thorne Building, at 3323 Franklin Avenue.
T.J. returns to The Brown Barn Farms in New Hampton for a trio performance with John Clay & Lester Wilson from The Black Dirt Band! Drinks and food and some nice acoustic music to enjoy. One of the best new distileries in the area. They make their own libations! Wonderful, rustic room. Upstairs lounge is open! An amazing space!

Returning to the Maverick by popular demand, Grammy award winning pianist Bill Charlap has performed with many of the leading artists of our time including Phil Woods, Tony Bennett, Gerry Mulligan, Wynton Marsalis, Freddy Cole and Houston Person. Charlap’s trio, formed in 1997, is now recognized as one of the leading groups in jazz worldwide. 
Billy Carrión Jr.’s acoustic trio ensemble consist of Roberta Piket on Piano, (Billy Hart, Rufus Reid, Billy Mintz, DonnyMcCaslin) and Jonathon Peretz on Drums (Alvin Ailey, Blood, Sweat, And Tears) and Billy Carrion Jr on bass. The will release an acoustic album of originals material in 2018.
