He's been an oysterman, cabinetmaker, father, Appalachian Trail ‘thru-hiker’ and full-time troubadour from New England to Nashville, for ten years. He’s shared the stage with legends such as Maria Muldaur, Vance Gilbert and Peter Mulvey. He released his 4th CD, “Balance” in April 2017, followed by the first ever, full Taylor family summer tour, with his wife and kids (7 & 9), their CRV, 2 tents, 6 weeks, 19 performances, 14 states, and 4000 miles, and many stories along the way

I love the Rosendale Cafe; they present world-class musicians and it's one of the few places I can go where I can order most anything they have on their menu!

What this is. The Rosendale Cafe has been bringing notable performances to the area for the better part of two decades. This more humble opportunity for local performances started with a very successful run of the Community Music Night, and the series has run on and off since fall 2007.

John Hughes runs this sweet showcase, and puts his heart and his lovely spirit into it. It's a dwindling resource, so come while you can!

Dave Davies of The Kinks
Rock (classic)
Paramount Hudson Valley Theater
1008 Brown Street
Peekskill, NY   See Map
Admission Prices: $37.50, $45, $60

Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Dave Davies is the pioneering rock guitarist who singlehandedly changed rock-n-roll with his unique writing style. Davies, who was the lead guitarist and co-founder of the legendary group the Kinks, created the first heavy metal guitar tone and riff. This revolutionary guitar sound propelled the Kinks into stardom with the global smash hits “You Really Got Me” and “All Day and All of the Night,” followed by numerous other classics over the next decades.

Davies further shaped the sound of the Kinks with his singing and guitar on songs such as “Come on Now” and the anthem “I’m Not Like Everybody Else.” Mainstream success continued with the hit Kinks Albums Low Budget and State of Confusion, as they re-attained the commercial success they previously had in America in the mid-60s.

Pete's CD, "The Levee", reached #1 on the Roots Report for radio airplay. It was produced by Grammy-nominated Blues guitarist Duke Robillard, who's worked with many music industry legends. Duke wrote, "To those who don't know [Petey] yet, you will soon!"

Petey's originals are powerfully written, musically intriguing and downright fun to listen to. Songs like "Little Johnny", "Westside" and the title track, "The Levee" have been met with high praise. So excited for Petey's return to 12 Grapes!
