 Rhythm & blues, jazz, and gospel recording artist, Rene Bailey uses her vocal clarity to sell the blues with genuine feeling. Combining gospel, jazz, and rhythm & blues, she has performed with notable artists such as Louis Armstrong, B.B. King, Aretha Franklin, Dave Brubeck, Ruth Brown, Paul Anka, and Sam Cooke, among others. For many years, Bailey has become known and beloved as the front woman for the six-piece traditional Dixieland swing ensemble, The Saints of Swing.
Rene began singing gospel as a young girl in her Georgia church. Moving north to Connecticut, she sang across the New York City scene. The transition from gospel to nightclub work came naturally, and Rene became the featured vocalist at the legendary Peg Leg Bates Country Club in Kerhonkson, NY for two decades.
Miss Bailey was known as "LADY SUNSHINE", during her tenure as Music Director of the Samsonville United Methodist Church, in the Catskill Mountain hamlet of Olivebridge, NY. |

 Alva Nelson, a multi-faceted musician, has performed & recorded with Lightnin' Hopkins, Kirk Whalum, and Regina Belle. He has been musical director for "Ain't Misbehavin'", "Violet", and "Lady Day at Emerson's Bar & Grill" and produced Dorothy Leigh's "A Second Chance", for which he wrote three songs. "Soul Eyes" is Alva Nelson's latest jazz piano release.
Nelson has received three "Meet the Composer" Grants; won 1st Place in the Composers' Guild Composition Contest with "Synonymous Dichotomy" ('83), "Buster's Bounce" ('85) and "Tranquil Jubilation ('88); and was selected as a semifinalist in the Thelonious Monk International Jazz Competition.
Throughout the 1990's, Nelson performed, arranged, and orchestrated music for the Boys Choir of Harlem, including engagements at Carnegie Hall & Alice Tully Hall with Wynton Marsalis and Kathleen Battle; Hubert Laws and the St. Luke's Orchestra, and the New York Philharmonic with Zubin Mehta.

 One of our all-time favorite singers is back!
Brian "BSKi" Collazo is most well known as frontman for Live Society, a band that recorded three albums together and were fixtures on the indie NYC circuit regularly performing at notable stages like The Bitter End and Rockwood Music Hall, among others.
BSKi's latest EP "Keep It Light" was produced by Greg Mayo (Bernhoft, Brooklyn Sugar Co.). At times blending Latin rhythms with 90's R&B, Funk & Hip-Hop, he adds a tongue-in-cheek lyrical approach for a uniquely personal record. "Both musically and lyrically, these songs sound and feel more like me than anything I've ever done," Brian says.
Brian's band includes Greg Mayo (guitar), Anthony Candullo (bass), John Roggie (keys), Eric Brown (drums/vox) and Anthony Almonte (percussion/vox).

 We offer a Caribbean Buffet dinner, live salsa & Latin Jazz with "Orchestra Pastrana", a night of dancing and DJ Ted's masterful mix of roots, rock, reggae, salsa and more before and after the show.
Our Caribbean buffet, served from 8:00-9:30, includes wild Alaskan Salmon seasoned with the best caribbean spices, jerk chicken, brown stewed chicken, peas & rice, pasta, and more, plus a complimentary personal-sized bottle of champagne. Cash bar.
The Orchestra Pastrana will perform at 10 pm and carry us into the New Year. Percussionist Tony Pastrana, the ultimate bandleader, brings us a host of smooth, high energy Latin grooves as Orchestra Pastrana plays Joey Pastrana's greatest hits and more.

 Join us for a Multi Media celebration in music and imagery of one of the primary sources of The Hudson Valley Sound.
From 1968 through 1975, the Band was one of the most popular and influential rock groups in the world. Their music ran counter to the counterculture, and was embraced by critics and the public, as seriously as the music of the Beatles and the Rolling Stones. Their albums, steeped in Americana and historical and mythic American imagery, were analyzed and reviewed as intensely as records by their one-time employer and sometime mentor Bob Dylan.
Re-Christened THE BAND, Capitol Records released Music From Big Pink, in 1968 - an indirect outgrowth of the The Basement Tapes (1967 Woodstock NY Sessions) and sounded like nothing else being done by anybody in music. It was as though psychedelia, and the British Invasion, had never happened. The group played and sang as five distinct individuals working toward the same goal, but not mixing too smoothly. |

 "Andy Stack's American Soup" freewheels through American Classics from Duke Ellington to Hank Williams. Surrounded by the Avalon Archives Museum of Rock & Roll collection, this diverse ensemble may play with direct references to the music represented in this astounding room!
As leader and a solo artist, Stack’s approach to songwriting, guitar playing and singing is sweeping. He generates creative expression with broad strokes, and builds momentum with nuance. He comes at you full-throttle, lifts you up and places you back down gently.
Jesse Murphy has been associated with the eclectic band, Brazilian Girls. Legendary jazz guitarist, John Scofield says: “Jesse is the most intuitive and like-minded bass player that I’ve played with in a long time. ..."
Michael Bram is currently the drummer for Grammy Award winner Jason Mraz, serving as Mraz's Musical Director from 2008-2010. He has also performed with Willie Nelson and Joss Stone, among others. |
